Movie gets a bad rap. Who hasn't thought of jumping into a refrigerator to avoid a nuclear blast?! Fun family flick that I recommend. Fantastic!

When I heard that Indiana Jones was back in theaters after aso long, I was so excited. I waited for the DVD release instead of going ot the theaters since I'm so busy all the time. It was on sale for $13.99 and I had a $3 coupon to knock down the price. It is great to see Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones cracking that whip again. Karen Allen is great too and so is Shia. What I did like about this one in particular is th euse of comedy. Ex. Indy hiding in a fridge or Marion adn Indy squabbling in the truck. There is alot of action so it will keep you on your seats. Overall, the graphics are terrific, but I thought that the storyline was a little too weak. There is comedy incoporated which is good and its worth watching again and again if you're an Indy fan or just like action and adventures. What ever happen to Sallah from Raiders or the Last Crusade? I would love to see another one of these films made again.

I like the movie overall. It held my attention and entertained me for about two hours and isn't that what we ask of the movie industry. No matter what the movie plot would have been, the fourth Indy flick could not have lived up to the hype that was almost 20 years in the making. On pure entertainment value, I would recommend this picture however I was disappointed in this film straying just a bit too far from the original series' hystorical and religous search of antiquities.

Despite the age of Mr. Ford the movie takes you to another level. There were as usual the predictable scenes and then there were the twist to the predictability. I kept guessing about what the end was going to be until the final scenes. Can't really comment on the special effects becuase I really don't view them until weeks later. Maybe I will review them and come back later. Really the lovers of Indiana Jones have no problem with the age and will find this another hit.

This is a really good movie if you like any of the other ones. Good Indiana Jones feel to it. But there could have been a few more of the classic one liners that were in the originals. Some of the story seemed a little far fetched though. It fit well with the 1950's area 51 story line, but it seemed like it was being stretched a little. I had to buy the Indiana Jones series when I bought this movie. I had to have the entire set.

I bought this mainly so I'd have all of the "Indiana Jones" movies in our collection. This one is certainly NOT my favorite, but it's ok. It's full of excitement and the usual "Indy" brand of stunts. Despite being 20+ years older since "Raiders", Harrison Ford still proves that he has the stuff to wear the fedora. I had trouble reconciling the silver-haired man on the screen with the dark and dashing hero of the earlier films. But, he proved his mettle once again. This film contains a lot more profanity than the previous ones; I guess that's why it earned the PG-13 rating. The scenes with the ants are extremely intense and rather frightening for children, so parents should exercise caution. The premise of this film, with the aliens, is rather far-fetched and is a deviation from the earlier films' search for religious artifacts. The film is a good addition to complete the "Indy" library of any collector but I still prefer the original "Raiders" and "Last Crusade" to this installment.

This was an overall good movie and a good ending to the Indiana Jones saga. The acting on Fords part was excellent as well as Buff. Its hard to see how much older Ford is in this movie and he still makes it great. The plot was somewhat overdone but still very interesting. Doesen't really follow the same plot as the previous movies but still good. A great movie for anyone and their collections.

I really enjoyed seeing yet one more chapter in the Indiana Jones saga. It was great that Marion was brought back; she was my favorite of all of Indie's girlfriends. I think that the actors did a great job, particularly Harrison Ford and Karen Allen. However, the physical demands of the plot does stretch plausibility even for Indie fans! A fun movie for the library!

If it wasn't for a 50 word minimum i would have stopped with the review headline...However this cool and fun movie deserves a few more words. I was skeptical when i heard about this one, i have to be honest but when watching it i forgot a ll about Ford's age or the fact i am almost 30 and mot a kid anymore...It was great to see some of the other actors and actresses from previous installments of the Indy series. I don't know what Speilburg has in store for us next but hopefully he be writing another script to bless us all with another Indiana Jones movie! Watch this!

When I first saw this movie in theaters, I was thinking: "Really? Shai swinging with the monkeys? What the hell?" But when I got finished with it, I loved it. Yeah, It had it's flaws, like the whole fridge scene that everyone complains about, and the thing with Shai and Harrison's characters that they did (trying not to spoil) was a bit predicatable. However, this movie gets A LOT of unnecessary slack from people who claim to be fans. When you watch this one next to the other three, you will see that temple of doom is still indeed the worst one of the quadrilogy (soon to be five movies). In short, the acting and story are great, and it is better than the second movie, but not as good as 1 or 3. It is worth the buy and I highly recommend it!

I've been an Indiana Jones fan since I was a kid. My wife, father, father-in-law, and I went to see it in the theater. We all loved it. However, in recent months this movie has taken a lot of flack, including South Park ripping it apart. I thought this movie was terrific, (minus the refrigerator scene.) Just like all the other movies, this one was based off of truth. Alot of people don't know that. For me, it makes for a better movie. I can't figure out why some people hated this movie so much. Everyone I know has loved it. All I can think of, is that people are just being to critical or had too high of expectations. All I can tell you, is to watch the movie and make your own judgements. I thought it was great and I highly recommend it.

Being a big Indiana Jones fan I have to say that I really did enjoy the movie. I don't think it is the best of the 4 Indy films but it does stay true to the franchise by keeping that "Indiana Jones feel". Overall a great action adventure that is a really nice closing to the saga.

This provides a nice finale to the series and it's fun to see Indy in a new adventure. Kinda like visiting old friends. The 'threat' of communism does not really provide ample evil for the bad guys, and Ford is way too old to play this kind of action hero. Sorry Harrison.

I'm a big fan of the 1st three Indy movies and I own them all on DVD. However, I will not be adding this one to my collection. The first three movie were based off of legends/myths we had all heard of, could easily believe could happen, and could follow along with the story. With this movie I've never heard of the legend, have a hard time believing it could happen, and was completely lost at times. While Harrison Ford is still cool as Indy, there are times when he seems confused and his voice seems to be dubbed over.
