Q: Does this need to be vented outside or can it be installed on an interior wall?
A: You have 3 options for venting. The internal vent up from the cook top thru Charcoal activated screens venting back into the room out of the top, front vents of the unit. This would be your internal wall installation without any ducting. This can take care of some smells but will not filter a lot of smoke. Option 2 is through the top of the cabinet, this is the preferable option removing all smells and smoke to the outside approved vent. Option 3 is the least popular as it requires a wall channel to be installed and it vents all smells and smoke out the back of the unit again to an approved vent to the outside.
A: Don’t buy this oven. Is very noisy
Q: Does this microwave include a method for mounting? brackets or hardware?
A: Yes, this unit comes with mounting hardware.
A: Could you pls check the status of door handle first, like screw came out fully? If yes, you have to change a new door. If door handle came out without screw, you could take out inerframe (black plastick part between outer frame and door glass), then tighten the screw.
Q: I tried setting a time I can’t figure it out
A: Hi Tim. I may be late answering this..hopefully you haven't removed this microwave out of frustration as i was about to do. Hit cancel to put in standby mode. Then hit clock and time for exactly 3 seconds. And "12 hour" will come up instead of "timer" i had been having trouble getting anything but the timer to show. This is such a pain in the a%s everytime daylight savings time ends or begins. This microwave is difficult. You tube videos are for easy microwaves where the clock and timer are separate. I was about to go shopping for a new one!!!!

Q: The door latch was broken, is a repair part available somewhere?
A: so if its the same issue regarding it clicking at first near the hinge then after a couple of times the clips come off near thence for the cover, I used a butter knife to flare it out just a hair. as for replacements your best bet is to contact bestbuy if you just bought it, if you've had it for a while try contacting insignia.
