I purchased these products less than 24 hours ago and I plug the sub into an outlet with power then the two speakers into the sub and nothing is receiving power. Is there anything else I can trouble shoot or are these just duds?

Do the settings for the lights remain selected even if the speakers lose power? Such as if the light mode is set to off, and the power strip they're plugged in is turned off and then on, will you have to reselect lights off mode?
