This little speaker system was on clearance. I needed one for my desk at work as I like to listen to music throughout the day. It is perfect size and the Bluetooth works great with my tablet. The subwoofer has nice output too! One of the best Insignia purchases I've made!

I needed a pair of headphones for work cuz I work around loud machinery but I didn't wanta wear those big headphones cuz there awkward and they would just be in my way so I checked out the wireless headphones and seen this pair and it was Sony so I just figured they would have to sound great and they did better then i thought they would. I can't hear a machine at all at work. It's great. I recommend them

Got this off the clearance rack for just over 30 bucks, and it sounds really great! The Bluetooth is great, it connects easily and really cuts down on cord clutter. One note, make sure you turn on the bass when you first get these, because the first time I turned them on, the bass was all the way off, and they sounded horrible. Once I turned up the bass however, they sounded 1000x better. The control dial is a great feature too, but I wish it synced up with the windows volume control instead of operating independently. It doesn't matter too much if you only use these for sound, but it can get a bit annoying if you have headphones as well since the volume doesn't sync up well. They also feel A LOT more premium than I expected for $30, they're all plastic, but they have good weight to them and they look nice. Overall a great pair of speakers, especially at this price!

Product is exactly as advertised and well worth the buy. Bluetooth works well, as do all ports and dials on the small controller. The bass and external speakers work extremely well. It's also easy to setup and run, especially if you have little knowledge in sound equipment (like myself). Only hiccup I had was a misunderstanding on my part about the speakers, which I thought were wireless but are not. Otherwise, fantastic and simple hardware.

AMAZING speaker system I got dirt cheap and it's almost outperforming my $500+ Samsung home theater system I got years ago. I got it on sale for like $30 and it's better than $500+ Samsung speaker system, I was truly surprised. But one thing I noticed by now: Insignia products outperform many bigger name brands. Another example : my 8 qt Insignia pressure cooker is all-around better than my 8 qt Gourmia pressure cooker. I almost don't use the Gourmia pressure cooker anymore and use only the Insignia one. From now on anytime I have a choice between Insignia and any other brand, I'll buy Insignia. They're cheaper and well made and I read many people said the same thing in a lot of comments. I'm waiting for this speaker system to go on sale again and I'll grab a few more for me, family and friends. I'll surprise my family and friends with these speakers. I'd still buy if it didn't have Bluetooth but at $30 on sale with Bluetooth I am stealing them.

If you need something that is relatively small but still produces decent sound then this should be an item for you to consider. I purchased this looking for an option to pair up with outdoor movie night. The system is loud enough for smaller gatherings and very easy to set-up.

For the money, these work just fine for rocking out in my office. After hearing them, coworkers went and bought them as well. Very loud and tons of bass if needed. The bass level is tunable from the volume pod which helps a bunch and I stuck bubble wrap in the bass port to lessen the boom. Easily connect via Bluetooth. Very happy with these so far. LOUD!

Its an amazing addition to the television being used by a 95 year old WW2 veteran. He now loves listening to music on MusicChoice due to the liveliness of these speakers. Not only that, you can connect a device by bluetooth, only for audio, and connect your tv, or anything else, via 3.5 audio jack cable and it has the ability to switch between both items seamlessly with its little button on the controller. The volume control knob is cool too, overall quite an excellent buy for anyone looking to get superb quality sound from their basic TV speakers.

Been using these for about a month now and I'm pretty happy with the purchase. Plenty of bass provided by the sub, decent enough quality from the 2 satellite speakers. Bluetooth connects right away. Every once in a while I get a little blip where you can tell the connection got interrupted, but not often at all. I like the control "puck" that sits on your desk for easy access to turning up/down the volume and adjusting bass as needed.

I needed speakers that took up less space than my previous Klipsch 2.1 speakers I've had for years. Price was good and mid to high sounds are clear however this bass is weak and hollow. Bluetooth pairs easily. There's a fairly loud beep when connecting or disconnecting. For the money it's ok but if you have the money, go better.

Picked this up on sale and set up for a teenager's room so she can listen to music. Fair sound without breaking the bank. Midrange gets a bit muffled, but using the phone's EQ, was able to make improvements. Easy setup and pairing, with a simple hand control to adjust volume of the speaker and 3.5mm input if desired.

The speakers aren't too shabby on the sound and having the Bluetooth is perfect for my Kindle or phone. The only bad thing is the speakers are top heavy and tend to tip over when bumped into. Other than that, I'd consider them a good investment as long as you find a way to keep the speakers from tipping over. The volume and bass get krunk, too!

Considering they are cheaper and and not many people buy insignia, these speakers were surprisingly great. Would recommend to anyone trying to find speakers for their kitchen or bedroom because this set gets a lot louder than i expected. It also produces some great some bass while resonating through out my room.

Pretty darn good rooting tooting speaker system if you ask me. The Bluetooth thingamahiggy works just like a magic or maybe some kind of voodoo. My cellular phone sends it's music straight up into the air and my speakers reach out and grab that music and start playing it out loud as if by Insignia magic. The sound comes out beautiful like my cousin Darlene's angelic singing at the country fair. Just can't be beat.

A coworker of mine uses this same speaker system for his PC at work and it sounds great so thought I'd give it a try. I just wanted to plug it into my desktop at home. I don't plan to use the Bluetooth functionality but glad it's there just in case the wife wants to use it. Do note, when plugging this into your PC there is no 3.5mm wire included for that type of setup. I guess they assume it'll be connected via bluetooth. Another tip, this system starts up in bluetooth mode. To switch over to the 3.5mm cable from your PC you need to press the 'source' button to switch it over to Aux input. That aside, the sound out of this system is great. Watching movie trailers is pretty entertaining with this system, much better than I expected given the specs. I also like the bass boost wheel. It acts as a poor man's crossover for the sub. As long as it doesn't die on me I'll be happy with it.

The sub is very acceptable for use in a small dorm room such as mine. The little speakers it comes with sound terrible, so I just ran an AUX to my Sony speakers which is even better. I can adjust the volume on my Sony speakers to get a good sound from the bass as well as the high range from my Sony speakers! Very pleased with the sub, would recommend doing what I did and use better tweeters with volume adjustments!

Wasn't expecting much from these, but picked them up because of the price. Pleasantly surprised by the audio quality and bass. Bluetooth connectivity works great with no lag. I've paid more for much worse. I would definitely recommend.
