I got this for my Surface Pro 6 so i could attach music recording equipment as well as the mouse at same time. The surface has just one USB 3.0 port. I tested out the latency buffer size i use for recording and real-time instrument playing. Identical speeds and buffer times to plugging straight into the Surface Pro, but using this 4 port attachment. Awesome! Reliable, FAST, convenient and inexpensive! Excellent solution for a one port problem, without ANY loss in performance! Amazing, really!

This Insignia USB HUB with 4 ports is compact but very good. Even though I bought it to use at home, you can take it anywhere. The price is so reasonable. Very haooy with this purchase.

Very useful to have an additional 4-ports on my PC. This product works as per the specs. it is more economical to buy this product than to buy a PC with more ports.

I am so glad I purchased this hub. Having a tablet, you don't get enough ports to completely function like a computer. This hub make that happen. I don't like that the cord is so short but it's manageable. I think this is a must have!

An excellent 3.0 4 Port USB Hub. Especially portable and convenient being USB powered from the computer. No AC Adaptor required.

Needed to expand I/O on my Surface Pro. Only draw back was some weird connection sequence I had to do to external HDD and SSD at the same time. Could be a windows thing but other than that gets the job done well. I would recommend insignia products all day. BESTBUY's own brand which makes it a cheaper product than other brands that just make you pay extra for their advertising bill.

Bought this because I needed more usb ports for my laptop. So far so good! I have filled it up and do not see any slowdowns or lag time.

I have to work from home and need to have a number of things plugged into my work laptop. This port is used with a tabletop ring light, external Logitech camera, and a mouse transceiver. And I still have one port open for another device if needed. The only minor complaint would be the short cable. Wish it was a bit longer to tuck away better.

It’s so difficult to find one of these that’s a reasonable price and works. I’ve had several other versions and will work on some of my devices and not on others. This one goes into my laptop specifically and works perfectly. And the price was reasonable. What a surprise. I recommend it

It functions as it should and does most things i need it to do. The reason I only give it 4 stars is because in comparison with Belkin, Apple, HyperDrive,etc adapters the material feels a bit flimsy. Thats being a bit picky, but its noticable enough to me I thought I should mention it. However, it still does what i want it to.

The usb hub is slim, available 2.0 and 3.0 speeds and doesn't need its own power supply to work

Works great, plugged it in right out of the box and every device works with it as it should. Would recommend.

My only complaint is that the USB cable is to short. That being said, it’s very easy to attach the device to the computer with Velcro near the a USB power port on said computer.

I’ve had this for over a year now and it works great! It’s very good quality and I haven’t had any problems with it.

A great hub to multi task with when down loading USB files.
