Q: Does this work with the nes, or just the snes??

A: YES, THESE CABLES CAN BE CONNECTED TOGETHER TO MAKE A 12-FT CABLE AND WE HAVEN'T NOTICED ANY LAG. HOWEVER, THE KIDS ARE USING IT FOR SNES AND IT WORKS GREAT. I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS ANY LAG WITH OTHER SYSTEMS.
Q: Do I need to purchase this as well? Doesn't a HDMI wire come with the purchase of NES?
