I DID NOT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT DISPLAY PORT CABLES UNTIL I GOT MY CURVE SCREEN. WHEN I MISTAKENLY ATTACHED THE MONITOR TO MY LAPTOP THE PICTURE WAS HORRIBLE. THEN I DECIDED TO SWITCH OVER TO DISPLAYPORT CABLE. WHAT DIFFERENCE A SCREEN MAKES. COLOR ARE BRIGHT AND READABLE.

I would prefer that it had a locking mechanism for each plug end. I have lost the monitor when I moved my computer case back to its operating position and bumped the cable.

This product was good. I do wish that it was longer. I understand they make longer but 6 foot chords like this don’t really have much of a place in my opinion.
