I have many electronic devices and Work from home, as well. Just about every room in my apartment has at least one of these. No issues with over heating, no electrical problems, and you can turn all ports off with one switch. Even if your device is powered off, or not in use, if not switched off at outlet, but still plugged in, the electric company is charging you. Flip the switch at outlet, provided on this device, go greener, and save your hard earned money for vacation. Challenged myself to do inventory in my apartment, selecting what could stay unplugged when. Will get back with results. This is basic type, no power indicator light, no usb ports, “basic” meets my needs at some outlets, where the strips with more features at others. The second photo is provided as an example.

Very useful, has a good cord size, no malfunction on contacts, very slim and con be fitt in small places, very recommended.
