This is a pinch style lens cap which is new to canon and falls subject to accidentally falling off your camera inside your bag which is not good. I prefer the older style of push buttons which is harder to remove and requires more of a commitment to remove by the camera operator rather than a gentle touch. It is completely acceptable for the cheaper price than a Canon brand as some buyers feel paying extra for it to say Canon is useless but I feel the original lens cap does hold better and falls off less. If you go through them a lot or need one before a gig this is perfect and justifiable for the price.

I always purchase extra lenses caps. I have been known to loose during a photo shoot. The lense cap fit great and protects my lenses. The price was very reasonable.

Really like this lens cap. You remove it by squeezing the clips from the front and not on the outside like other caps. Makes it easy to remove when you're using a lens hood.

This is very strong and works beautifully. It fits on my canon 24-105 F4 RF lens. Great value for the price.

This lens cap is a perfect fit and stays on! Easy to remove and works as well as the original Nikon lens cap that came with the lens.

Worked great and economical. I bought it for a friend who lost theirs who lent me their lens. Perfect fit.

I lost the lens cover and purchase this one. It fit perfectly was much cheaper than a brand name replacement

This lens cap fits well and holds tight. I wish it was a little thinner

i bought this bc my oem canon lens cap pinches from the side making it hard to get to with a lens hood on. this also serves as a cheap replacement but i use it since i wont cry if i lose it. it also works better than my canon lens cap bc it pinches from the center of the cap to remove from the lens. buy it! you wont be disappointed

i picked up another 2 while at store, , i keep them every where in my bags, car, around the house ,, since i keep forgetting where i put a cover down ... so the bestbuy covers are cheep cheep to buy a bunch .. you don't need to pay thru the nose for an oem cover ...

i have more than 5 lens that uses this size ,, i keep misplacing them ... and get these and 2 other items , as BB has 25% discount when you get 3 accessories .. and no matter what size they all fit perfectly

Had to pick this up as I dropped my OEM cap in the sand and needed this until I was able to wash it out. Fit my lense just fine and did the job. If I had lost a cap this would work just as well.

I don’t like to NOT have a cap on my Lens so I carry a few of these in my bag in case I misplace one! ( seems to be quite often :). They fit perfectly on my Sony Lens.

Even though I didn’t like the fact that it didn’t have a canon emblem, I’m glad it could fit my lens because I had lost mine while on a boat.

This is a great replacement cap for your nikon lens. Eventually you will lose your lens cap. Keep a replacement! They work

Nice item, priced right. I use this on one of my lenses, works as it should. I will buy it again, if needed. I will recommend this item.

This cap has the newer release tabs in the middle of the cap and my old one had them along the edge. It used to be very difficult to remove the cap with the lens hood attached. With this cap it is a breeze to remove without having to struggle or taking the hood off. The only thing that is not great is the tension of the mechanism. It's very light and it has fallen off on it's own a couple of times.

A nice alternative to the more expensive Canon version. Plus I was able to purchase the lens cap locally.
