Q: What is the [ Volt rating ] on this Fan?
A: I've used it on a 12v DC circuit and it works great. My guess is that's it's between 5 and 12 volt tolerant. No problems with it burning out on 12v longterm usage.
A: The fan runs off of 12VDC, 120VAC would fry it.
A: Yes, just use the red and black. I am running my fan with only two wires, (red and black).
Q: my hp fan is 90mm....i can only find 80 and 120....which one will work?
A: I am sure if the factory size is 90mm then it would need the same size back unless the grill opening has sizes spaced out for the 80mm or 120mm as in bolt holes,

A: This product is 80mm (3.15"). Use screws to fix the fan and plug the fan into the computer.
