Bought this in combination with an iPhone camera mount (just be sure the mount has the right base :) and it is the perfect lightweight tripod that extends high enough for self-taping auditions. Other camera tripods were much more expensive and heavy. This is lightweight, less space, has adjustable legs (so you can set it up on, say, stairs or an uneven surface and adjust so it is level). Comes with its own travel bag. Great buy.

I only wish it was more stable When I put my little LED light on it it seems like it wobbles way too much

The light stand has a great amount of reach , so it pretty useful in any scenario. The downs of it is , it's really wobbly it feels like the wind could blow it away it hold good but if your out doors best bet is to bring some sand bags or you could lay your back pack on it if it's kinda heavy

I read some not so good reviews on this stand, but decided to but it anyways. For me, the stand works great. I have a AD200 flash on it and it doesn't get top heavy or wobble. I would buy again.
