Product Manuals

Q: ( iPhone 5c ) Is it true that this Insignia brand can wear your battery out on phone faster because it is not an actual APPLE iPhone product? Lady at ATT store tried to tell me that!

A: The key here is the cable is MFi (Made for Apple) certified. This means it was made to specs provided by Apple and should be fine. In reading about the issue it not so much the cable as the charger you use. I would stick with Apple chargers which do a better job of regulating the voltage to the phone and prevents damage to the IC2 chip.

Q: Online it says that it is Apple MFi Certified. But the package has no indication of the certification. Is the package correct or is the online name/explanation? If something is certified it shows a certied seal someplace. Is it certified or not?

A: The cables are certifed. Look at the back of the package..the white rectangle box that says Made for Ipod, Iphone and Ipad....that's what you see with Apple MFi certfied cables. You can also check on the apple website. For example, the model number for red cable is NS-6A5 on page 4 when you search insignia. https://mfi.apple.com/MFiWeb/getAPS

Q: Does this work with an iPhone X.

A: It’s a lightning port. Same as recent gen iPhones. I don’t think Apple has evolved past the lightning yet.

Q: Please help me is cord compatible with iPhone 7 plus?

A: Yes, these are compatible with the iPad as well as Iphone 5, 5s, 6, 6+, 6s, 6s+, 7, 7+, basically anything that used the standard apple lightning port

Q: Can I charge my ION audio - air portable CD player with Bluetooth from my Hyundai Tucson?

A: No you need an USB to barrel cable. You can find more info from the manufacturer's website. https://www.ionaudio.com/portable-cd-player-with-bluetooth-aircdxus
