Q: How do I know when the speaker is done charging. Without a light
A: Hit the battery button on the back. Not the best setup but it will let you know how much it is charged.
A: It does not stay lit when chargimg or charged, you will need to press the power bank button to determine if its remaining battery life. Not sure how long it takes to charge. I did have issues charging My first unit, i left it on the charger for some time and the battery indicator did not go up., that prompted me to exchange it for another, which works as intended.

A: Hello Kathy. I have an apple phone, but this should work for your daughters phone. The phones description has a specifications section which states the speaker is “universal” which means it should also work with android enabled devices. I don’t see why it wouldn’t. Great speaker specially for the price. She will love that she can also charge her phone with it! I highly recommend it.
