Q: Is this compatible with the 2DS?
A: No this would not fit the 2DS.
Q: Is this the exact same size case as the other Insignia Go Case?
A: I believe they are basically the same case. However, the one you are asking about is compatible with the NEW 3DSXL. When they made the other Insignia Go Case, the NEW 3DSXL wasn't in production. I think all they changed was the compatibility on the cardboard hang tag.
