A: I have three Samsung Smart Tv’s ; all purchased from Best Buy, the earliest I bought was in June 2013 and the latest in 2016 and I tried this remote on all three and it worked flawlessly on all three just as soon as the batteries went in. (No complicated programming required), so my guess is that the associate gave me the correct info that this remote would work as a replacement for all Samsung Smart tv’s purchased at Best Buy. I’m guessing it might work with Samsung smart tv’s not purchased at Best Buy as well; but I would ask an associate just to be sure.

A: Yes. It has all Samsung command auto loaded when you click the Samsung tv as your tv. It will not allow voice control like new Samsung remotes do.

A: Not sure about your TV model but i have the curve and it worked great. There isnt a Netflixs button however there is an orange smart hub button to bring up your TVs smart functions. For us the remote worked straight out of the box with no additional setup necessary and was worth the money.
