Great keyboard for the price if you dont mind it not being cordless. I needed one that was corded and this keyboard works perfectly for what I intended it for. A great buy!!!

I bought this keyboard because I recently upgraded from a laptop to a gaming pc which I build on my own. I had all my peripherals already except a keyboard so I decided to see what was available at the nearest BestBuy. I purchased this little one and am pleased with it. It won't wow anyone with backlights or fancy buttons but it gets the job done. I'll talk a little bit about the build quality. I've had it for about a month, coming up on two and I haven't had any problems with the keys. They have a pretty solid feel when you press them and it's hard to get them dirty unless you really screw up and spill something into it. The keyboard itself is light and easy to carry. And frankly I'm a minimalist so I enjoy having simple but reliable gear. I gave this item 5 stars because it did what was advertised. And for the price, it's hard to beat. If you need a keyboard and you don't care about the fancy things, then this one will work for you.

It's a good basic keyboard. The height adjustment feet below keyboard do nothing to lift or lower angle; it is pretty much flat on table. It will take some getting used to. It has good tactile feel, but a transition from a clickity-clack keyboard. Location of some keys not standard (escape key is located below "volume decrease" button). Using it for gaming, and you may find yourself in console mode as I have accidentally hit "tilde" several times in trying to maneuver in online battle games. It's a good keyboard that I have grown used to. Not much effort to push keys. I still prefer the older type keyboards. This was fine for the price. *Never pay more than $20 for a keyboard*

Keyboard works wonderfully and has the flat laptop style keys I love. Bought for the office since we aren't allowed to have wireless and it works great and is easy to clean. Quiet keys and responsive.

This was a quick, inexpensive solution when my aged Laptop keypad wasn't working correctly. Was as simple as plug it in and keep on rolling. I love my old laptop but wasn't willing to spend a large amount of money to keep it going. This gave me the ability to get in and save my important documents and photos...I'm able to continue using my laptop for Facebook and Google searches without worry of if it crashes I will loose all my important stuff.

Letters and characters on the keyboard that came with our computer wore started wearing off almost immediately. After a year they were hardly legible. This was the least expensive wired replacement keyboard I could find. My husband is old fashioned and refused wireless. This works great and the paint is staying. Tempted to buy a backup for a spare. Well worth every penny!

Needed a keyboard for my new Mac Mini and this was the cheapest. I didn't want wireless as to having to keep changing out batteries. For the price it is great. Good quality. I actually like the flat keys so for me it was a great fit.

For the money, this is a great keyboard, easy to use, easy to set up. I use it with a laptop that I turn into a desktop at home. I was surprised at the quality for such a low price, easy on my fingers, easy to navigate, keys are where they should be, nothing unexpected when typing fast. Thanks Best Buy!

I bought this as a quick replacement for my keyboard as it had gotten liquid spilled on it. I expected a lower quality but it surprised me a bit. The keys are quiet and the board sits solid with no wobbling. So far, so good. Just plug and go.

This was purchased for a rarely used Apple MacMini that lost it's expensive apple extended keyboard to corrosive liquid damage. The machine is probably used less than 4 hours a month, so a sub 10 dollar keyboard was perfectly acceptable. This is a very basic, all plastic keyboard with no frills. It has a hardwired usb 1.1 cable and no additional connectors. That is NOT clear in the product description. Take this into account when connecting to your computer- you can't plug a mouse into the keyboard. Luckily, the computer in question uses a bluetooth mouse. The keys would not hold up to my aggressive key pounding, and I imagine I would kill this keyboard within a month if I used it for work purposes. However, for 'light' typists, and those that hunt and peck, it will probably be okay.

This is a great keyboard that feels nice to the touch. I do some light gaming and this holds up well. For the price, it is an incredible value. For hardcore gaming, sure a gaming keyboard would probably be better, but for any light gaming and regular use; this is great!

Not too much to say about a keyboard, but for the price, I really like it. Keys feel nice, numeric keypad is great for doing calculations. And there are quick keys at the top to control speaker volume, pause/play videos, and a few others. Really nice for the price.

I recently spilled water on my laptop and the keyboard was not functioning, I needed to retrieve some files so I bought this keyboard as an emergency keyboard. It works wonderfully with my Dell Laptop I choose it because it was the least expensive and it works great.

Got this keyboard to give my other one a rest. It works fine, the keys feel crisp, has the number pad on the right, and some multimedia buttons at the top. My only gripe would be that the multimedia buttons seem to get too much prominence (they are even elevated over every other key) and as such seem to cause the other keys to be scrunched into the remaining area below. I have noticed increased typing errors due to the smaller distance in between keys, but I'll probably get use to the spacing soon enough. The smaller size of the keyboard allows it to fit on my desk alongside my mouse, so that's good.

The keyboard is pretty great. It's light weight, easy to use, and cheap. I went to best buy because I needed a keyboard for my new computer. For roughly $10.00, I got what I needed. Should something happen to this keyboard and it brakes, I'll get another one.

Our new desktop came with a smallish wired keyboard that I found difficult to use. BestBuy had lots of keyboards to choose from but only 2 wired ones. A previous wireless keyboard seemed to have a small latency so wired was my only choice. The Insignia USB keyboard seems a bit roomier (but doesn't measure so) and has raised keys with large key top characters. It works fine. My only criticism is that the keys are just a bit stiff but that doesn't present a problem. I like the lights indicating num lock and caps lock. There is another light but I don't recall what it is for. I think that someone who writes a lot might want some ergonomic features, such as a palm rest, but for casual use this keyboard is fine.

I purchased the Insignia keyboard for a computer that I was refurbishing because it was priced right. However, I was pleased to find that it works better than other more expensive keyboards that I own. My fingers glide over the keys effortlessly.
