Q: Not sure what I'm missing here..."plugs securely into your car's USB port." Image clear depicts an automotive power socket (lighter). Having an older car this is important as I do not have a USB port in the car, but understand the USB tether to the phone

A: It plugs into your car charger, not into a USB port. You plug the usb end of a charging cable into this piece, then plug the piece into the lighter port.

Q: I recently purchased auto phn charger. It did not work in either of our vehicles so i returned for new one. It worked fine in one veh, when i plugged into my Honda it won't work. Does the charger apparatus have to be placed in certain position? iPhn 6e

A: Try to check the port with another chargers or adaptors, I once had the same problem and then it was car fuse, after fixing it they worked fine.
