Customers admire the Core i7-13700K processor's impressive performance, especially in gaming, and its competitive price point. Many appreciate the flexibility in RAM support and the significant FPS improvements reported by users. However, some users emphasize the need for a robust cooling solution.
The difference this processor made in my gaming or just loading task... It is life changing lol Great cpu, had no issues booting with the Z690 MPG motherboard. It does run on the hot side, I am waiting for my H7 case and X73 Cooler to arrive to help fight that. I heard people mention under volting, I am not the best with fine tuning, regardless, I would recommend this cpu. It was a massive upgrade for me and I went from 50-70 fps in most games to 125-150 fps, waiting to upgrade my gpu from a 2070 to a 3 series. ( dont mind the wire mess, it was a quick build that is only temporary. )

I purchased this on sale for Black Friday as an upgrade from my i7-9700K. Paired with a Gigabyte Aorus Z790, RTX 3090 Ti, and 32GB DDR5 RAM, this is one beast of a computer. It doesn't fall far behind from the i9-13900K and runs under 80C with a 240mm AIO. After building up the computer, I haven't had any issues running games at 1440p Ultra settings. 4k is probably the ideal resolution for something like this.

A massive upgrade in performance compared to my 9700k. Paired with my 4090 FE, the 13700K runs like a dream in all games I throw at it! 13700k vs 13900k imo is a no brainer. If you're not really going to utilize the extra cores and cache that the 13900k will provide (and you don't have the cooling capabilities with your chosen CPU cooler) the 13700k proves to be a perfect gaming CPU (of course with the side benefit of being great for productivity work as well!). I am able to maintain a below 90 degree all core load by simply limiting PL1 and PL2 to 200W max (Not that I any games should ever utilize 100% of all cores at the same time). All in all, a very good CPU more than enough for gaming on PC.
