I have been using TurboTax 2010, when I had stocks and capital gains, etc. to deal with. After paying an accountant $1,200 I decided that roughly $120 was enough. This includes the cost of Federal e-file and paying for the state e-file. Once you have used it the first year it is ready with all your personal information to include banking and investment institutions so that the following year is somewhat of a breeze to do. It is updated several times during the tax season to always give the latest rules and lets you know before filing if there are any critical errors. Even lets you know the likelihood of an audit. I liked doing my taxes on a couple sheets of paper, but if you find yourself with investments this is a great savings tool.

I have done my taxes solo with no software to assist in preparing my federal and state taxes. My situation changed and I was worried that I might get audited if I made a mistake this software is fantastic because it catches things that I have missed in the past I have saved over $200 by using this product and I have the reassurance that I will be assisted in the event that there is a mistake that the IRS is contesting. I would recommend this product to anyone !!

I've used TurboTax for my tax return for more than 10 years. This is my 4th year using Premier, because it makes investment reporting easy. I just download the info into TurboTax from my investment firm. It's the next best thing to having an accountant do my taxes. It guides me through all the steps I need to do and checks everything for accuracy.

I have used Turbo Tax for years - the step by step program is great for beginners, or you can skip that, and just work on the items that you know you need. Clear instructions. View or print all the forms you need for individual tax returns. Includes one free state, which is great if you live in a state that requires filing.

The premier TurboTax makes it simple to file your federal and state tax returns. This includes preparation of both, but unfortunately requires you to pay extra for multiple states and E-filing in each state. If you don't mind filing by mail, you don't have to pay the extra fee for one state. Unless you have investments or property, you may not need this tier and can likely opt for the cheaper TurboTax offerings.

I've used Turbo Tax for years. It gets better, and easier to use, each year. I like that it can import the repetitive data from the prior year's return so I don't have to retype it each year. I like the boxed version because it allows me to e-file easily.

Since I already had Turbo Tax on my PC, I was able to import all of our personal and basic tax info from the previous year, which saved a lot of time. After a thorough accuracy check, online filing of both federal and state returns was a piece 'o cake.

Turbo Tax Premier is an easy solution to tax preparation. It walks you through the process step by step. All you need is to have your employee, bank and investment paperwork and the process is simple. Turbo Tax takes you through each area and asks questions regarding your life situation, ownership, investments, etc. guiding you through the burdensome process of yearly taxes. It even allows you to pause and return another time when ready. No meeting with an accountant or advisor, just enter your data at your own pace. I would highly recommend this product to anyone having to file taxes. The best part is as you enter information, the display at the top shows you if you owe money or you're getting a refund. Of course, we all want to be getting a refund, but, you know. If you gotta' do your taxes, this is definitely the way to go.

I've been using turbo tax to do my taxes for years and it's very easy using this tax software. i have a rental property and inputting the data for it easy and it's very easy to transfer over the previous year info.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and fine it user friendly and accurate. The program thoroughly covers each topic and provides references for indepth explanation. Turbo tax also guarantees calculations are accurate.

I’ve been using TurboTax fo 15 years. It is much cheaper than an accountant (my mother has hers done by one so I am well aware of the difference). It automatically takes a lot of last year’s data and pre-fills the forms which saves much time, and being able to download investment data directly from the broker saves hours!

Easy to use. Step through instructions if needed. Pulls in data from prior year tax return if turbo tax was used in prior year. The premier version has several more forms for more complex transactions.

Have been using Turbo Tax for 20+ years. The interview format is very well structured and is easy to use. If Turbo Tax was used the previous year(s) pertient data is carried forward.

I bought this for my friend who prepares taxes for me, his son and his own every year using TurboTax. It's accurate and makes tax preparation much quicker and simpler!

Very easy to use and data entry is clear and concise. I was able to enter multiple K-1 schedules with ease. The only drawback that I can see from this experience is that if you have a K-1 with entries for Box 1 & 2, you have to enter the K-1 for each box separately and it is not clear whether or not you have to re-enter all the other box's data when you enter the rental income in Box 2. It would be nice if the program could just figure it out that there are 2 entries and it would save you from having to enter the k-1 identifying data all over again.

Very easy to use. I use it every year and I like that it transfers your previous returns which makes it easy doing your current return.
