A: Yes, you can use more than one Clean Base with your Roomba s9. You can also just have one base on whichever floor you choose and carry the Roomba to the non-base floor to have it empty and recharge.
A: Fortunately, all Roombas will manage rugs as well as fur. I do recommend starting your search at the Roomba e5 level, since that's where the cleaning brushes move to 2 rubber multi-surface versus 1 rubber & 1 bristle. It's a bit better for human and pet hair. Your other considerations are how much suction you think you'll want, how much area you want to clean on one mission, what technology advancements you want (recharge & resume, directed room cleaning, teaming) and finally if you want the ultimate with automatic dirt disposal. A: The Clean Base™ sold in North America is designed to work on at 110-120 volts. This is considered Low Voltage. Unlike the regular Home Base, due to the vacuum motor in the Clean Base™, it cannot perform as dual-voltage.
