Love the motion sensor trashcan. It is slim but holds the same amount of trash as the wider trashcan. I was surprised that the opening is big enough to stuff large milk containers through it. I plan to buy another. The filter is a great added feature to remove any smell. I also purchased the AC adapter to plug it in and not worry with replacing batteries.

The can showed up with 2 dents in it. So it is getting returned. I did not like the D batteries in it. That seems expensive and an odd size. Seem a little too tall compared to most places to put it.

Got this to replace my kitchen trash can. I was tired of the annoying -rotating- lid. This lid retracts leaving zero wasted room and even has an odor absorbing pad. When the odor absorbing pad is cashed, I just wrapped baking soda in a coffee filter and lock it in the little 'cage'. Seems to work, just being cheap I suppose (can't see it so it doesn't add a bad look or anything). Very sleek and attractive look and keeps the smell inside the trash can if there is any. I purchased batteries for this since the cord isn't included (I prefer batteries). Looks small, but it's really not. Holds more than enough and easy to take trash out. Only con is the noise, but I really don't mind it. If you need to use the trash can repetitively, just flip the switch on the back and it stays open.

I used to own touch less trash cans for over 2 years now.. used a lot of different brands. This is the best one I've owned so far. Pros: 1- It's design is pretty good.. it's capacity is 14 gallons while it's smaller than my other 10 gallons trash can.. this is a huge advantage for me cause I wanna save space as must as I can. 2- The quality of it is way better than the other brands I've owned.. I mean you pay for what u get.. cause it's a little more expensive.. but it's totally worth it. 3- The design of the opener is a bit far from the trash bag.. this is so good to keep the trash away from the opener. with other brands I used to suffer from having the opener sticky all the time. Cons: 1- The opener is a bit loud. 2- Some times when the trashcan closes, it tends to give more power that what it needs and it sounds like if some one is slamming the door. this doesn't happen all the time.. I'm reviewing this based on 5 months of owning it. I'm very happy with it and it looks like I'll keep this for years.

Once I figured out how to install regular, tall garbage bags, it's been perfect. There are no instructions on how to install the bag. Do this: 1. Make sure that the motorized cover is off of the can and the retaining ring is on top of the can. 2. Open the bag and place it all the way in the can.. 3. Pull up enough of the open bag to place over the retaining ring, slightly lift the ring, and tuck top of the bag under the ring and inside the can all the way around the ring. 4. With the ring re-seated on the top of the of the can, place the motorized cover back on the top. The cover holds the bag in place and the weight of the garbage/trash "locks" the bag onto the ring. And you cannot see the bag. Also, you don't have to worry about regular tall kitchen bags not reaching the bottom of the can because, if you are putting so much in that it's stretching the bag, you're putting in too much. Or, if you're pushing down hard on the contents for compaction to put more in, you're putting in too much.

I LOVE this trash can! For years, I tried to find the perfect trash can for my family. We've had swing tops, push tops, and step top trash cans that have not worked for us. At some point, we always had to manually open the trash can. This touch less trash can is wonderful and battery operated. You wave your hand or object over the sensor and voila, the tops opens and gives you about 10 seconds to dump your mess. This trash can is pricier than others, but it definitely makes a difference.

I love this trash can but it has a few cons! It's super easy to set up and is a breeze to use. I like the automatic function/ sensory open it has. BUT (if you don't have batteries ready to change) it gets super slow after a while then it will not open or close at all. So I do suggest that you keep your batteries handy. I do like that it does keep the trash completely covered and traps any bad smells. I will admit that it is quite a task to change the trash bags when the trash needs to be disposed of. Unlike conventional trash cans (remove top, switch bags, place top back on) I have to turn it off so it doesn't open/close unnecessarily, take the top off, then the liner, switch out the bags, replace the liner, replace to top and turn it back on. Also, keep the trash can in an area that doesn't trigger the motion sensor often so it doesn't use battery life too much.

I have to say I love this trash can so far! I am a little concerned about how long the batteries will last but they have been in almost 2 months now. A little quick to close but love how he keeps the trash out of sight and any smells too until you take it out! The can looks great too...I get lots of compliments!

I love this trash can the sensor is great, I located this trashcan in the entry way of my kitchen and it does not open only when it needs to be, However, I have only had this product for a week and when it closes it has been screeching lately, I am hoping that with the guarantee I have I can get a new lid and love it all over again, it really is a good buy just not perfect.

We've had our trash can for nearly a year and are glad we have it. It is great at keeping the bad smells in. We've not had any problems with it all, the sensor always works, is easy to get bags in and out, and is just simple to use. It is a bit pricey but I think it is worth the money, get on sale if can.

Love it love it love it. I never tried the touchless garbage can until this one. It just makes it easy to use. The garbage can itself is so strong and takes dirt cos of its size. It was easy to assemble and the sensor is very sensitive which I like I wish it came with at least one pair of 4D batteries though cos that hindered me from using it immediately.

Nice trash can, and the no-touch lid/opening is great to eliminate food debris and all on the outside. It's a little narrow but overall a good size for most kitchen trash. Love the stainless steel

Having this trashbag for 3 years and been working great

Trash can is much bigger than it looks. Easy to assemble and operate. It opens just a little slower than I would like but overall it’s pretty cool. You need D batteries

Such a quality trash can. Fits in perfectly with my other appliances. It is large but does not take up a lot of space. I like that it is touchless except when I walk by and it is activated lol! Now I am more careful when I pass by it :)

Love this trash can, it’s so modern looking and has a top that slides in so my children can’t break it. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a touch less trash can but also something that is kid friendly. Love the thinner look.

Fancy trash can keeps the smell down and also the charcoal filter absorbs the smell so it doesnt simply build up inside. It doesnt come with batteries which is 4 D cells. :*(
