purchased this because it was well within specs for my monitors. Installed and the monitors will not hold up. My monitors are 32' and weigh 14.7 lbs each, which is 2.9 lbs below the max spec outlined on the box. ;(

I apologize for the experience you have had with your Ergonomic Dual Monitor Desk Mount for Most 17” -32” Monitors - Black. If the monitors weigh less than 17.6 lbs, does not exceed 32", and if the arms are assembled correctly than the arms should stay up. You can contact our customer service team for assistance with setting up your monitor arms. Thank you.

When I initially put the monitor stand together, I thought it was a quality product that may have been a little overpriced, but worth the money in terms of buying in store, instead of spending hours researching which mount to buy online. However, once I finally mounted my 28” Samsung monitor (which is ONLY 11.2 POUNDS), I quickly found that the aluminum frame around the gas piston twists unbelievably when the top hinge is not straight on. It’s impossible to adjust my monitors because I have to tighten all of the adjustment points as much as possible to prevent my monitors from drooping. If I hadn’t tossed the box before noticing this, I would have 100% returned this garbage.

The issues you’ve described—such as the twisting frame and challenges with maintaining adjustments—are certainly not the intended experience with this mount. It’s designed to handle monitors up to 17.6 pounds with smooth adjustments, so a 28” monitor weighing 11.2 pounds should work without these difficulties.
- Double-check that your monitor's VESA mounting pattern aligns correctly with the mount. An uneven or loose VESA mount can also contribute to stability issues.
- Ensure the mount and all fasteners are securely and correctly assembled according to the manual.
- Use the included Allen wrench to adjust the gas spring tension. This step can help balance the weight of your monitor and improve stability.
- While it’s important to secure the joints, over-tightening adjustment points can limit smooth movement and create excessive strain on the frame. Adjust until the monitor holds position firmly but can still be repositioned when needed.

I purchased the dual mount and received the single mount. It was a gift for my son. My son went back to college and set up the mount we realized they shipped the incorrect product and will not credit or send addition mount. I paid for a product with 2 and got 1! Never shop at Best Buy! Customer service was HORRIBLE!

Purchased this for one 27 inch and one 32 inch pair of Dell monitors. The 27 inch works wonderfully and is held with little wobble, however my 32 inch monitor which is 16.6 lbs (one pound less than the arm load limit) is struggling to stay on the arm, and the weight keep it tilting downwards even when the bolt is tightened beyond what it should need. The gas arm struggles to hold the monitor, and so I'll be investing in a stronger set

Claimed to hold weight of monitor and could not hold it at all!

The JTSA102 is designed to support monitors up to 17.6 lbs per arm, and the gas spring needs to be properly adjusted (tension tightened) based on your monitor’s weight for it to hold position correctly <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/j5create.jpg" alt="j5create" title="j5create" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

I’m giving this a 1 star due to the description saying it can hold up to 32” and also 17 pounds. My monitor is 32” and 14 pounds but it was unable to hold it steady without it consistently coming down. I have tried to tighten the screw as far as it can go and same result.

Double-check that all screws are tightened securely. Check if the monitor's tilt and swivel adjustments are properly configured. Improper adjustment may affect the stability of the monitor on the mount. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/j5create.jpg" alt="j5create" title="j5create" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

I have 2 32" monitors that weigh about 16 lbs each. The product clearly states 17.6 lb capacity for each monitor arm. Not true, my main monitor tilts down as it clearly does not support the weight of the screen.

Too difficult to set up and doesn’t move the way you’d expect for it to.

These are meant to clamp onto a surface, so if your desk edge isn’t the right configuration it won’t work. My desk has a frame so this didn’t fit. Your work surface will need the clearance for the clamp to fit.

Just want to save people time don’t even bother trying to reach out to the manufacturer. If there’s an issue I’ve sent four emails no one ever replies ended up having to do a charge back.
