I required an extra USBC port for my portable laptop extended screens. I tried two different types that I bought from online marketplace and they were crap. I couldn’t get the 3 screens to work until I bought this item from Best Buy. That’s all I am saying. This item works for me. It provides the extra USBC port for my display monitor and a charging port to keep my laptop charged.
