Thought this was a perfect solution. After all, when you have a perfectly fine 60" Panasonic plasma set, that does everything you want except not "smart" enough to function with mirroring, why wouldn't you go for it? We have five flat screens, and two of them are somewhat smart. Unfortunately, the set in our tv room is not. If we want to stream a show from MacBook or iPhone, it is necessary to uncoil the cable and, well, you know the rest. So, for 80 bucks, why not? Installation was okay, although the instructions on screen & written need some clarafication and on line bot not so hot, so phone call was made. After a long wait, I got a polite fellow who walked me through the job. Seemed to be okay, and initial test worked fine, but there are problems. First, signal seems poor at times, with mirror disconnecting multi times during show. Second, streaming services like Peacock & Paramount+ don't work with the device. Sound but no picture! This is a problem with these greedy streaming services, who must think you are going to mirror or screencast to an entire auditorium.

This appears to be a simple and straight forward screen casting solution and supports several formats. But it does not work with Meta Quest 3 casting, despite allegedly supporting chromecast. It does support screen mirroring from iOS devices, with some drop off in quality due to compression.

Signal not as strong as advertised but it does work just every now and then either a interruption or complete signal loss

Difficult to connect and disconnects after few seconds if video is paused. Although I updated the device there is delay on the voice as well.

Overall this does what you want - casts your pc or mobile device to a monitor or TV wirelessly. Getting it set up to do so is straightforward, but ensuring it stays connected has been an exercise in futility. I use it for my work, extending the screen of my laptop to my (brand new) monitor. I can't be any closer to the device, as everything is on the same desk, and yet periodically throughout the day it will suddenly lose the connection. When it does I get a green screen, where I then have to unplug the device, plug it back in, and reconnect. If you don't mind periodic frustrations like that, then this is right up your alley, but for $80 I was expecting better.

It was working well but kept on losing signal every 10 minutes even tho my phone was in range

Does what it's supposed to, but with a significant signal delay (which was not indicated on the box). I'd thought that by having a device with a dedicated receiver, this would minimize the delay between my laptop and the TV, but there's a delay of around two seconds even though I'm within 5-10ft of the receiver. I wanted to use this with video calls so that I could display them on the big screen, but the delay makes that use impossible. Otherwise it works as intended. But the delay makes it not worth the money tbh.

Attempted to use it to stream videos from mu pc, however it doesnt transfer sound which i wasnt expecting from HDMI using an arc port. It looks choppy, better than my native streaming for my tv (older model so thats expected) but still fairly ... meh? I dont think its worth the 80 dollars. I think id have preferred an Video over IP solution but for 80 bucks i was atleast expecting a smoother steam

Easy setup and mirrors to TV to display iPhone contents; however, it does not work with Netflix or your cable provider app if you have no WiFi. My iPhone cell data plan does not include hot spot, so I could not setup a WiFi network. I did called Tech support and left a message. Its been 3 days now and no call back. I did get another product which is an AV adapter that allows a HDMI cable to connect phone to TV. Problem solved.

Setup is pretty easy but loses connection frequently and programs like word and excel are often pixellated / unreadable on the screen. Sometimes it works great, but resetting the unit doesn't seem to fix it when it is acting up.

The ScreenCast 4K Wireless transmission distance must be with in the 50 ft. in an open environment to start casting, no solid object between the units. ** Feel free to contact j5create Technical Support if you require further assistance. Their information can be found on our website under the "Support" tab. Thank you.

The insteuctions are all over the place and not easy to understand. You have to figure it out on your own, but works great once you do

Even for a non tech person this was pretty straightforward setup and was easy to use.

Works for 2 of our phones but not mine. Since I'm the one who is home the most, I wish it worked for me

Plug the HDMI connector into an available HDMI port on the TV/display. Plug the USB connector into an available USB Type-A port on your TV. Turn on your TV to power up the ScreenCast. Select your TV's input/source until you see the setup screen. *If your TV screen remains black, your TV may not be supplying enough power. In this case, please plug the USB cord into a USB power adapter and connect it to an outlet. ** Feel free to contact j5create Technical Support if you require further assistance. Thank you.

Works ok but not what I really needed. I already have a tv I can cast to so this doesn’t help. I wanted to connect a windows pc to the tv. This won’t do that. It has to be a Bluetooth device. I wish the description had been a little clearer

I purchased this to screencast my 5G phone to my TV. As a result, I found this device to be overpriced as compared to a 4K Roku Stick, and project just as good as a Roku.

Decent device which cuts down on hardwire clutter. I’ve had to disconnect and reconnect to get the picture and sound back
