Great product. A Best Buy employee left his area to help me find the right cable. He asked more questions, and then suggested a better cable that was right for my application. Not knowing, I would have stayed with a USB-C to USB-C. So, glad that he initiated the conversation. I am now getting a higher quality connection.

4k120p works with Intel MacBook Pro 2019. Took a chance and this was exactly what I needed.

Works great but $50 for a cable is a rip off. I used ir to connect a 42” 4K television to my laptop for a monitor.

This cable DOESl NOT support an external 4k monitor at more than 60Hz with a MacBook Pro, which is clearly stated on the product box, and it is correct - you only get up to 60Hz option. It's conveniently not mentioned on this site, leading to the assumption that MacBooks aren't an exception and the advertised res/refresh combo works for Macs, as well.

Available USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode is a must. GPU and video source must support DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC to achieve 8K @ 60 Hz /4K @ 144 Hz resolution. The resolution may be limited to 4K @ 60 Hz with macOS and iOS devices. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/j5create.jpg" alt="j5create" title="j5create" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

I bought this adapter, trying to find out if it would be compatible with my Nokia, 100 phone and Chromebooks USB-C port. So it turns out that my Nokia 100 was not compatible with this device, but my Chromebook was this means that my USB-C port did not have that required functions to to stream videos. I was very impressed with the small design of this adapter. It was made from good materials, sturdy, sleek design. Had great video and audio quality to it also. If you’re not looking for a long cord to go to whatever devices you’re using then this is a good choice, but if you’re looking for a little bit more core length, this will not be your option. my only complaint on it was the price it was a little bit higher end in the price range, but still worth the price the quality of that you’ll be getting using this adapter.

It work's flawless once you figure it out, witch took us 15 and then it runs smoothly.. we are usimg it to watch movies on our projector that doesn't have software to run it through wi-fi or Bluetooth. So we where hoping this would sold our problem. Now we have a theater in our home. We use a large Bluetooth speaker underneath the projected screen and it works perfectly. The quality picture is amazing. We highly recommended it. We had it now for a while and no issues what so ever.

Works very well. No issues and much preferred over a converter.
I have an iPad Pro from Apple and I needed the capacity to be able to plug my iPad into my Sony Bravia 65 inch television. This little adapter was able to handle broadcasting from the USB see port into the televisions HDMI ARC compatible port. Apple has no issues recognizing this device and when you plug it into the Sony television, it recognizes it as a valid video source. The construction is well-made. It seems to do the trick for what I needed it to do. I also use this device to send video from my dell laptop to a large screen projector and it handles it with no issues there either.

Love this thing. I had received points from some purchases I made, and I needed one of these. Found this one, and I highly recommend this specific one. I use it for my Lenvovo Leigon 7I with my monitor that isn't exactly the best monitor. This cable completely changed the quality of my screen. I am blown away with the difference between this, and even a ultra-high speed HDMI cable. Blows the typical HDMI out of the water. I also use it to connect to TV's to give presentations. My Colleagues at SCC and I, needed one of these and I got almost my whole class to purchase this after I used it to present.

One of the few cables on the market that allows me to connect my Macbook Air to a monitor with 120hz.

I use this for both my work laptop. It was delivering 120hz at 4k monitor size but with recent microsoft updates I noticed it is now only able to handle 60hz. I kind of wonder if it is the cable. But I did see it do 120hz at one point and it was epic!

I think I've finally stumbled upon the cord of the future. It's an HDMI 2.1 cable from j5create that works with USB-C ports. This cable looks as futuristic as it works. Here are some things I like about this product: * The cable is high-quality and works great. * I was impressed with the performance. * It's space gray and black, and I love the look of that.

Works as intended. The pulsating light an the HDMI section looks interesting. Over all good 4 stars for value only because it is priced at 50$.. it should be less.

This works fine! I was suffering through sync dropouts, and decided it was likely the cable. Upgraded to this 8k and all is fine. I have been using it for 4K dual monitors for 4 weeks wiht out any issues.

4K@60hz 8bit, 120hz 8bit, 144Hz 8/10bit Exactly what I needed for the monitor/laptop combo I was running. (Graphics has to have the USB-C/Lightning video feature)
