GROWING PAINS is my first attempt ever at a somewhat conceptual and full project. It's my first sonic art piece. I did three versions of the demos before coming to something I was happy with. The cover art and it's distortion is to represent the confusion, fear, anxiety, depression and mess it is of me finding myself on this new music/life journey and the death of an older version of me. In the music there's a lot of references to spirituality, my frustration with the youth and my people, & self empowerment lines/verses. GROWING PAINS is an extension of me and if you're a thinker who lives life through questions and concerns... this poetry is for you.
