Thank you for your inquiry. While you could theoretically place the speaker on a very deep and sturdy wall shelf, this is not the same as wall-mounting. Our JBL Authentics 500 is technically engineered from both an acoustic and physical standpoint to be a tabletop/surface-based speaker. Attempting to wall-mount it is not supported and would fundamentally degrade its audio performance, particularly its bass and Dolby Atmos capabilities.

Our JBL Authentics 500 does not have a battery and must stay plugged into a power outlet to work. If you're looking for a portable option, our JBL Authentics 300 is the better fit. It features a built-in battery with up to 8 hours of playtime, giving you the flexibility to move your music wherever you need it.
