Awesome!!!!! It fit perfect in the cubby hole behind my rear set in my 2015 Tacoma. If you have limited space but want quality sound this is a must have.

Real happy with product. Was very reluctant at first have both amp and subwoofer all in one. Worked out great for our Monty Carlo.

Love this product. Makes me enjoy my long drive to work. I need more music with moderate bass content. It also perfectly fits on the floor behind the driver's seat.

Yeah, I love listening to music almost everywhere all the time. I'm not a music fanatic, and thus not an audiophile, but I have a jeep and I needed the space that the subwoofers and box were taking up in the back. I picked this up because it's JBL and it combines the amp and sub into a box that would fit under any of the seats. Once I installed it, was super surprised at the quality of the sound. Paired withe Kenwood stereo I replaced because the volume was glitchy, I have a ton of variables to really tailor the sound that I don't even understand the half of. But, Top on, or Top off of the Jeep, and I have a very nice sounding stereo. With the right adjustments I can easily get way more bass than I need. I have not attempted to see how much thump I can get out of the system though. Again, very happy with the purchase. It is much better than I expected.

Added this to a complete sounds system upgrade. Upgraded all speakers to Alpine type S speakers and this 8" sub perfectly balanced the sound. Perfect kick to make music come alive but not loud enough to wake the neighbors. DynaMat helps if you are in the position. Keeps the base in the car. The Alpine Type S speakers are perfect when combined with this sub. Having the amplifier built in makes this even better. It can be mounted anywhere. THIS IS NOT FOR THE ONES THAT WANT TO BE HEARD A BLOCK AWAY. This is for a someone that likes music and to balance the sound. Won't rattle the car but it will make music sound 100 times better. Small compact and perfect.

This powered sub has decent bass for its size and sounds fairly clean; bass drums are well defined, not muddy. It makes a nice system addition, assuming you have realistic expectations. In my case it is being used in a F-150 to take some of the burden off the four Alpine door speakers, and it does this very well. If the buyer is expecting to get SPL contest level bass, look elsewhere. Judging by other reviews, that is exactly what some people expected. With the 125W amp, it is possible to trip the automatic circuit protection if you push things too far. It is a bass supplement and when used with that intent it is fine. Two small complaints: 1) The owner's manual is minimal at best, and there are no further resources online. The circuit protection is not even mentioned. 2) The wiring terminals are too small to get a decent connector in place...more accurately, the terminals are too close together. This problems holds true for a lot of car audio gear, not just this subwoofer.

I was worried that I would not get the dynamics I wanted from a under seat sub woofer ... It has exceeded my expectations and was a pretty straight forward install as well.... It's a keeper

I needed more bass from the system in my Jeep but didn’t want to take up any room in the cargo area. I came across this unit and felt that it was the right “fit” for my issue. I was able to mount it under the drivers seat so it is concealed. I was amazed at the ease of installation and the amount of sound this little “box” puts out. It was exactly what I was looking for and improved the overall listening experience.

An amazing compact piece of equipment thst deliver like the most expensive or big ones, a plus to have specially in compact cars, added with two pairs of JBL speakers plus an extra amp for those with an Alpine head unit, you wouldn't believe the quality of sound.

I consulted with Audio Installer Mike Pieceynski Best Buy store 1451 for my 2016 Nissan crew 4door. I knew I wanted to use the Alpine PDX 400w amp instead of replacing my factory head and a compact sub under the seat. He suggested the JBL BassPro 8” sub and JBL 6x9 3 ways in the front door panels and JBL 6.5 2 ways in the rear. I wanted clarity, every acoustical detail, like a live stage. He set the door speakers to mid and high only and w/ bass phased out of them. I listen to music using high end Sennheiser headphones and the reproduction of this setup in my truck is amazing (proper acoustic staging in an auto is impossible) but this sounds pretty awesome. It sounds like the bass is coming from the speakers but its coming from the rear sub. It’s not booming bass. Its accurate studio recorded bass. Vocals are clear and in front, guitars soar. Keyboards and percussion are separated, and bass is solid on the bottom. Not all albums are produced the same, some good and some muddy, but this delivers clean live studio sound across almost all genres (I listen to a lot of West Coast Reggae, Rock, etc and equalizer set to Dance). The JBL speakers are awesome. Not sure how they sound stock without the bass phased out but I would recommend them. And I was surprised by the BassPro because it adds the tight bottom end for an 8”. Most people want booming loud bass, to me it muddies the sound, but if that’s what you want this sub will not work.

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram Quad cab and was looking for something to complete my system but nothing too crazy, this sub does just that, it gives that hard hitting lows that I was missing from my Kicker 6x9s & 6 1/4. My only wish was that it came with the sub remote control so you had the ease of control from the front of the cab. If your looking for that last little piece to your system and aren't trying to turn heads but get good sound and not drain your wallet, this is the sub for you, you won't be disappointed.

Purchased this to fit under my back seat (GMC 2500HD Crew Cab) just to add a little better base to the new stereo. Its powered do it is much smaller and fits well. Sound is fantastic and fills the cab nicely.

I bought one, I'm seriously considering buying another. Works great, takes up very little room.

2015 F150-installed it behind the rear seat-it filled the cab with bass and is very responsive. I really enjoy the sound upgrade.

It's small so don't expect to much. Needed something compact with built in amp for my jeep and it works great. If you want big bass this is not top notch but has great adjustability. A+ for only being 8inches.

It doesn't rock the house down but it definitely adds some excellent bass to my single cab truck. I only have door speakers so I needed a little extra. It's super small and takes up almost no room. Pretty much a big amp. I love it.

If you want to get quality sound without adding huge speaker boxes this is a great choice.
