This speaker sounds great for its size. However it got 2 stars because it proclaims to have a 24 hr. Continuous play time on one charge. Thats far from true, if you get 6 hours on medium volume consider yourself lucky. I got 4 hours on full volume then had to charge or plug it in. I decided to keep it because it does sound good but truly not worth the $300 tag.

Disappointed in the sound volume from this speaker. At this price point, I would expect a louder speaker. I have seen speakers, of the same size, have better sound while costing hundreds of dollars less.

Great sound, but wasn't performing well outside in the sun. Volume started to lower itself automatically as time went on, which was annoying. Returned it and kept my Boombox 2.

Junk battery life for the boombox 3 anyway. What a disappointment this boombox turned out to be. When you play the music volume to near max to max volume, it drains the battery so fast that you can only get 4 hour usage of it at that high level. It’s suppose to have 24 hour usage or was it a typo? I don’t even need the 24 usuage, I would’ve been completely satisfied if the boombox could last for 8 hours at that high volume. It’s unfortunate that I tested this out far too late, I would’ve return this. Definitely do not recommend.

I bought open box excellent. The speaker itself was in good shape, but did not come with the power cord. My only option was to return the item to get a different one. Best buy couldn't send me a $10 power cord? Impressive.

I like bass. This makes waaaaaay to much and you can adjust it all you want and its still waaaaaay to much.

Thanks for your inquiry. If it is only sometimes that there is too much bass, we need to determine the common denominator. For example, if it only happens on a certain album, you may want to adjust the EQ to reduce the bass a little bit while listening to that album. But if it only happens when you are using a specific streaming service or app, you might want to check with the service or app to improve the sonic quality. However, if it appears to be completely random, try reducing the low-frequency settings in the EQ to find a happy medium so that a typical recording doesn't lose too much bass, but recordings with extreme bass are less excessive. If there is always too much bass regardless of the source or song, this means that the problem is not with the source material. Please try to turn your equalizer Off. Also, to determine if the problem is in the source device, try connecting the speaker to a different device. If the issue persists, please do a factory reset by pressing the volume (+) and play button for more than 3 seconds while your JBL Boombox 3 is On.
