While the device itself appears to be in excellent condition, the packaging was a different story. The box was ripped open, the power cord was just thrown at the bottom of the box, and the fabric cover for the device was actually to the side of it. The bluetooth connection to the device was still from what I believe was the previous owner. Hopefully all works out positively in then end.

Overall it’s an average product. I have the xtreme 3 and used it at a BBQ and was not it. It lasted about 7 hours on max. It got beat up a bit if I am being honest lol some drunk folks but the speaker got chipped and paint is non-existent. It’s just not worth the money and I wish I can return it tbh. Save your money instead and get extreme! Durable and reliable, mine is 5 years old.

It wasn't what I expected, the battery doesn't last 24 hours as the advertisement says...

I purchased the JBL bb3 for a jobsite speaker. I previously had a charge 3 and it was a good product. Moving into a new position of running work on a construction site building new houses, i needed something that could be heard over a new production jobsite and hold up to the environment. Although I returned the bb3 here is my review from having it for a week. I apologize for the format as i am on mobile. PROS: water proof, dust proof and shock proof. Should hold up to the elements quite nicely, like my charge 3 did. Sound quality is pretty good and the 96db gets pretty loud. The bass is pretty nice on the speaker as well. All around would be a great speaker for hanging out with friends or chilling at the house or outside. The handle is nice to carry and isnt heavy for the average person. CONS: I pretty much had to max out the volume so everyone in the house could hear it (rough state, no drywall, no garage door, etc.) It got decently loud it just left you wanting more. The battery claims 24 hr runtime at moderate volume (in the manual) I did not get a full 8 hr work day before it would die, mainly because it needed to be maxed out. I generally would get 6-7 hrs, and thats with pausing at lunch and not starting it up for an hour at the begginning of the workday. The speaker would roll around the floor while driving and i had to stuff sweatshirts or something to keep it still. TAKEAWAY: if this is for hanging around the house or quiet environments then the speaker is a good buy, except for the price. Tbh i think it is overpriced by a LOT. There are a decent amount of competitor speakers that get just as loud and have the same rated battery for half the price. If your a fan of Jbl and the price is no issue then sure. For my situation it left me feeling dissappointed. The battery life was one of the biggest things for me, i do not always gave access to power besides a generator, and i highly advise not charging things on a generator, you WILL ruin your product. ALTERNATIVE: after endless research i finally ended up getting an EcoxGear defender. I tested them both side by side at my house. The defender gets much louder at ~121 decibles and i have not had to max it out yet. It is also rated IP67 eaterproof dustproof as well as the bb3, and it floats. After an 8 hr work day the battery on the defender dropped 1 bar down to 4 out of 5. The sound quality is as good as if not better then the jbl, but the bass is not as rich as the bb3. Dont get me wrong the defender still has killer bass and you will not be dissapointed at ALL. Also its over 200$ cheaper then the bb3. After field testing the ECOxGear Defender, I returned the jbl bb3. I hope this helps, and like i said my situation isnt super common, but could be applied to other occupations or activities like outdoor sports/recreation.

The speaker sounds good, but definitely not worth the price tag. The camo design is pretty nice. The battery is also not 24 hours like description says, it varies depending on how you play it. To the people considering getting this, I would recommend buying the JBL Partybox Encore speaker instead. They sound similar, weight about the same and it is portable as well, it is also about $200 cheaper.

Good bass, bad connection for me anyway, iPhone 14promax and there was a slight crackling sound I guess it had something to do with my Bluetooth connection but I reset several times and reconnected a couple didn’t help . The bass also seems to drop off after a little more than 1/2 way up on the volume. The bass was really good tho it kind of over powered the tweets . If it was $300 I’d of loved it.

The extreme 2 that I used before would last nearly 11 hours at full volume. So far with a single night of use its around 8 hours at "near" full volume, very disappointing considering a boastful 24 life. I would expect at least 12 hours of full volume use if you define a 24 hour battery life. Of course you can get 24 hours of use out of anything in a quite room where you can use half or less of the volume dial. Other than that this speaker is awesome and clear and very powerful, the app equalizer is a nice feature and the speaker is responsive to those changes in app. Its a little heavy but a nice solid quality build. I am going to just have to charge at lunch every day insead of getting a full 11 or 12 hours out of 1 charge.

The labor of how I would loved right and I am asking for me I have to update it but it is an insanely to get a WINCHESTER Arms and so I would love you to a brick and a premium and a premium size and so you are you have an excellent price and now it keeps telling me I have to updaste it but it won't update and so just won't work on a WINCHESTER Arms and so I would love you to be a WINCHESTER Magnum in your life n the United States of America into easily bamboozled sheeple whom believe everything they've been shown and everything they hear with unjustifiable convictions is the message I need to be richer and now it keeps telling me I have no problem o I would you be interested to sell the elephant on the other hand signal commands with heavy equipment operators and dumptruck drivers in order to house an individual's ever lasting spiritual soul and now it keeps telling me I have to update it but it won't update and so just won't work on a brick paver patio x

The sound is incredible, but the battery life is very short and it's also very heavy for its size.

The overall sound is very good. The battery life on volume all the way up seems to be around 3 hours. Not very good if bought for the purpose of listening in loud work environments. The manufacturers '24 hour battery' claim must have been measured playing at volume 1 with bass all the way down. The sound quality and range really is great though.

Great looking speaker but that 24hr battery life is a lie. False advertisement. It lasted only 3-4 hours on full volume and the reason I bought this was because of battery life. I did some research and it says keep volume and bass low. If thats the case whats the point of buying a speaker to keep it low! Makes no sense! I want my music LOUD! This is very disappointing. Most likely returning item. So misleading.

The audio quality of the speaker is as great as you can expect it. Overall a great speaker, unfortunately though for those of us who enjoy the music loud the speaker only lasts about 4 hours on full blast.

I bought this in hopes it would outshine the JBL Charge 5 but honestly unless you want more bass that is all this has. Not worth the extra money.

Loud, but bass is distorted and raspy at higher volume. Ended up buying Sony Ult 7, which is cleaner, with not as much base, but crisp.

I ended up returning this product because I was unhappy with how directional the sound was. I thought it would’ve come out of both sides of the speaker and it only came out of one side. The speaker also did not get as loud as I was looking for. Good product just not what I was looking for.

It is big but the battery doesnt last but two hours
