Worked great for a few months. Then the sound died. I'll update when i find out how they handle it and either fix it or replace it

I love JBL speakers. They sound great and the price is competitive to other brands. This speaker packs a punch and it also has a feature that allows you to connect to more than one (if you choose to buy more). My issue is that this is my 3rd JBL Flip 6. The first one had issues with the power button. The second speaker started to get static and muffled sounding. Luckily I’m a Best Buy Total Tech member and it allows my purchases to be covered for up to 24 months. This made exchanging it very easy but I did end up having to pay a balance on the retail price because when I originally purchased it, it was on sale (Black Friday). Still better than paying full price for a replacement and the replacement speaker is now covered for another 2 years. Hopefully I don’t have any more problems. I own other JBL speakers (Charge 1, Charge 4 & Charge 5) and I still love the brand.

Don’t get me wrong this little thing is great just not long battery life as I was expecting. I’m sure if volume is at middle it might can go 10-12 hours but no one buys portable speakers to listen at those levels do they? Well, I didn’t I work outdoors and need music or my podcasts to keep me going all day. At full volume this thing last 5 maybe 6 hours and then it dies ao I’ve had to keep it charging all day to be able to use it the 10hrs of daily usage I need. Don’t let this thing die and if it does don’t expect to plug it to power and keep going unless again you plan to listen at medium volume. I have not tried using a “fast charger” maybe that could work to keep it powered if it dies and want to go back to full blast but other than battery love the sound and bass this thing puts out for a light and convenient portable speaker.

All around a very unimpressive experience. Sound lacks depth and character. Bass is very much absent. Only real positive is that it has good battery life and connectivity.

I like ease of use, it small but has good bass. Also very clear highs.

The sound is very good ,the Bass is bassing ,the only con is when playing this speaker loud for 5 hours and a Half it is end for battery life ..it just doesn’t last long enough,not the 11 or 12 hr long :(

Satisfied, battery life should be better durability, nice look, green color looks nice

charging cord quit charging, and was unable to get a new charging cord, wanted me to get a whole new one

Great sound for the size that is, battery life last a really long time, I love the color, I use it for camping and in my outdoor gazebo

My wife "commandeered" my DOSS XL, so I've been looking for a replacement for it. I've auditioned a few, including a different DOSS model, and let me just say this JBL is... middling, at best. To start, I love James B. Lansing's stuff. My first home theater system was comprised of JBL speakers. My DOSS XL was about sixty bucks. For its price, it's amazing. Simply so. When my wife is listening to it while she's in the shower I can hear the thumping downstairs. This is twice as much, and really not worth it. The problem is that it's difficult to quantify why. To start, I love that it has an app. and an equalizer in the app. Love love that. It has bass... kind of. You can hear that the speaker is trying to hit... but it sounds like a flat tire. The DOSS has less bass, but what it has is SO clean. The JBL does have it beat on overall clarity though. The DOSS sounds good, but the vocals on the JBL sound great. This is not a good "full room" speaker, I would use the DOSS for that in a heart beat. The JBL is good for moderate listening, and probably not much more. Overall I would not recommend this, especially not at the price point.

Decent speaker, decent volume. I don’t like how long the battery last though. I would not recommend this pill you have to constantly charge it more often then you should. The battery life is very short.

Sound quality good to my ear pairs up without a flaw, but mine finally failed after 2 years will not charge and turns on when ever it wants while plugged .

I am disappointed in the sound quality the JBL Flip 6 provides. The highs are too muddy and not sharp or crisp. The mids are almost non-existent and the lows are overtaking because the highs are muddy and the mids are gone. Bose still makes much better sounding wireless speakers. If JBL had an equalizer for the speaker than this could be corrected by the user, but speaker doesn’t have one. JBL has this issue with their other wireless speakers as well, for example the JBL Extreme 2. For those that want to have a waterproof speaker play music and don’t care what it sounds like, then this is for you.

Love the look and features with this speaker but the sound of my Flip4 was better. Just hope this one lasts longer than the 4 which was 2 years. Be sure to download the app as there is an EQ to adjust sound to your preference. Just doesn’t get the base and all around quality that the 4 put out.

I brought in my flip 5 because it wasnt working well with my fire TV. So i got this teade in and got the JBL 6 for 38 dollars more thinking it would solve the problem . But it didnt. There must be something that dosent work in harmony between the Bluetooth and TV and that saddens me once agian

Awesome sound and real good feature battery is not as good as my charge 3. But good investment

[Employee of bestbuy] It has too much bass if you want sonething that doesnt wakeup the neighbors get the smaller version. Other than that sounds good and has great range.

Great speaker but unfortunately had to return due to receiving newer version.

The speaker sounds good but the battery kills it If you like your music loud you won't get more than 4 hours

Item was rated as excellent” open box item but it was dusty and had dings on the speaker. I won’t be buying open box items from Best Buy from this experience.
