Purchased Mar 2023, now they are already malfunctioning Dec 2023. The case will not charge and there are connection issues. They did sound great when they worked though. Will add a couple stars in the future if JBL honors their product warranty. If not, I will be selling all my JBL products and never touching JBL again.

We appreciate you for sharing your feedback on our JBL Live Free 2 TWS. We want to ensure you get the most out of our products. Charging problems are usually caused by deep-seated dirt on the metal charging contacts, which includes sweat, skin grease, or moisture. To reduce the likelihood of this issue, use a cotton swab with some rubbing alcohol to clean the charging terminals of the headphones. Rotate the swab and scrub lightly on each contact surface, then use a cotton cloth to remove any dust and cotton residue left on the headphones. Next, wipe the contact pins in the charging case with a clean cotton swab and wait for it to try. Repeat until the contact points are visibly clean, and charging should work as designed. If the issue continues, please reach out to our Customer Support for further assistance.

The headphones quit holding a charge. Told JBL and they said they could not replace or fix them. I showed where I'd purchased over 10 pair of JBL headphones over a year and a half PLUS protection plans. Because I had to keep repurchasing plans due to malfunctions, I went to JBL. They said 1 year warranty was up here's a little discount that can only be used on a few things and that's all they could do. I spent over $1k on their products...sent documented proof of multiple returns and repurchases of 3 different types of headphones. Lance (Customer Support Agent W62) from the The HARMAN Customer Experience Team told me to find a pair on sale and use their little discount and that would equal a savings off another pair but no protection and that's all they could do...good luck!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Customer Service.

I bought these headphones and thoroughly disgusted. It started off really good. The ear buds fit in my ears perfectly and sounded really good, but then after listening to them play for a few minutes they went into mono mode and stayed stuck there. I tried re-pairing them and even deleting them from my device and reinstalling it several times and even tried a hard factory reset, but nothing worked. I got so aggravated i just returned them and pulled my trusted jabras out and carried on with my life. Jbl should be ashamed for putting out such faulty product. When i went to return it at best buy and told the guy at customer service wat was wrong he told me yea jbl known for having really bad connection issues, they just stop working all of a sudden!!

These were very uncomfortable. I ended up purchasing the Bose earbuds and love them.

JBL - Live Free 2 Tru Wireless Headphones don't hold a charge for even 3 hours, let alone up to 30 hours. Music sounds great, but phone calls are muffled and people on the other end complained about not being able to hear me clearly. Highly disappointed, especially since I didn't realize I had less than 2 weeks to return them when I picked them up (on the 11th) and they were a birthday present (not opened until 19th) and had to be returned by 26th. Sucks I'm stuck with such a horrible product.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. The music playtime depends on the volume level and audio content. To isolate the mic issue, please try to pair and connect it with a different phone and compare the quality. If you need more help, please reach out to our Customer Support.

Positives first: The sound on these is fabulous, and I love that you can adjust EQ settings to get a custom sound. They were advertised as fitting smaller ears, and I, with my small ears, can confidently say they feel great in ear. The noise cancelling is solid and I love the ambient aware feature. That being said — I HATE the touch interface of these earbuds. 80% of the time the touch surface either goes unresponsive or just doesn’t respond correctly to my programmed gestures. Sometimes I’ll accidentally set off the touch response with a piece of clothing or my hair, and that is so annoying. It’s very sensitive, yet not when you need it to be. About 75% of the time, one of my earbuds just decides it wants to unpair and not work, until I have to go through the process of removing the device as a whole from my phone and then re-pairing them. They do not stay in my ears. I don’t trust anybody who says they workout with these things in. They’ve fallen out while I’ve done yoga, been running, even if I whip my head too fast doing anything, they go flying. I would consider earbuds with a loop because these earbuds don’t stay put at all. The 35 hours battery time (7 + 28 or whatever) is not true. Not at all lol. And neither is the 15 minute fast charge. From the moment I’ve had these headphones, the battery life has been horrible. I take them out of their case after a full charge and the left headphone will drop to 80% while the right one is at 92% — even before I start playing music! I have NEVER gotten seven hours of playback with the headphones on one charge. At most I’ve gotten three hours. The battery life is on par with Apple AirPods. Disappointing. The case is so flimsy. I dropped the case from a very minimum height (from my couch onto my slippers on the floor) and once the case hit the ground (barely), the top opened and the headphones flew out. I wish it had a stronger magnet or a lock or something. I got these last year during a Black Friday sale, and I’ve been using them for a year. The price I paid definitely helps me to be okay with this product a bit, but if I paid full price, I would want them to work exactly how they’re supposed to and I would probably end up returning them.

Volume was extremely low. On a volume scale of one to ten. They were about a four at max volume. If that is their max volume and not a faulty pair. Definitely not worth the price.

Thanks for taking the time in providing your feedback on our JBL Live Free 2 TWS. If you're experiencing volume issue with your unit, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
Clean the earbuds by removing dust and wax with a cotton swab with alcohol.
Try dipping the affected earbud tip into a solution of lukewarm tap water and a small amount of dish soap. The earbud tip should be put into the liquid up to a maximum depth of 1-2 mm.
Keep the earbud tip in the water for about 2-3 minutes, then wipe/clean the grille with a small brush, such as a toothbrush.
Make sure that the volume is on a level that can be adjusted through your source device.
If you need further help, please contact our customer support.
