Man this JBL PARTYBOX CLUB 120 is off the chain!! Just paired it to my phone and it's definitely worth every penny. Dances to the music, has a variety of light shows, beautiful sound and bass..very impressive. You have the ability to connect a microphone for karaoke and a guitar. Another nice feature is you can connect another speaker for even more sound!! The sound is pretty loud and fills my living room with music AND I took it to Veterans Park here in Milwaukee, WI and the sound was great. The unit has some weight to it but is still very portable One thing I was really hoping for was the ability to connect my USB drive and play music from..good thing is it can!!! Great unit and I highly recommend.

Really good speaker, zero issues and it produces great sound and bass. If your looking for a speaker that can produced music throughout the whole house and still feel the bass through the room next door

I had the 110 for a short time and regretted selling it. The 120 came out and its on sale $100 off, so of course I jumped on it. To me its s better speaker. I’m going to keep it … and here is the but … its not as loud as you’d expect it to be. I even feel the 110 I had atvthe time was louder. Anyway, Its not all sbout volume. Its loud enough really and the lighting is an improvement although the 110 wasn’t bad. If I had not bought it on sale, I would have returned , not because its a bad speaker, but its not worth full price. Buy on sale or save for the 320.

Very nice, get load and great bass. The only thing I would change it the volume switch is temperamental. It will reset to volume of where you turn switch instead of when you adjust volume on phone.

powerful and clear sound, deep bass, dynamic light show, and swappable battery feature.

Awwsome Loud Speaker. Only issue i have is that the battery life does not last 12 hrs like advertised (with the light show turned off) :( other than that i do like it

Why is it almost perfect? Well, let me get that out of the way first. 1: The lighting is "meh". Don't get me wrong, I love that it lights up and makes a mini disco room effect, but one key feature it's missing is the ability to sync with the music. The lights and patterns are random (if you choose it to be), but having the lighting sync to the music with different patterns and colors with a wide array of options to do so would have made this unit TOP TIER. 2: Then there are the built in music/voice effects. JBL, what on Earth are you doing? You get the obligatory air horn, but the delay on the button means you can only hit it once to get the effect, you can't just spam the button because it has to play through the sound before the next button press registers. There are other effects that no one in their right mind would use, like a record scratch and just random 8-bit noises. Then there's the voices. This is where I nearly docked another star. It has these British AI voices so when you press the button, it says things like "leeet's potty" (no one will convince me otherwise that's what she says) and "Who. Is. Ready. To Jump?", but it's so monotone and uninterested that it's embarrassing to even listen to. 3: Lastly, the battery. I've seen tear-down vids of this unit and I can confidently say there is more than enough room to fit a Partybox 320 battery in the space provided OR two of the existing 120 batteries. In the end, all three of these issues are minor in my book, but combined it was enough to not get five stars. Now, what is there to like? 1: For one thing, don't let the outer shell fool you. Yes, it's plastic, but there is an actual wood woofer box on the inside. Most likely a compressed particle board, but no MDF, which is fine. That would also account for a good bit of the weight. They also had the foresight to pad the plastic shell to absorb speaker vibration. I like that little detail. 2: Like all JBL hardware, connecting to the app works fine and gives you extra features to change lighting and the aforementioned sound effects. It also gives you battery life if you can't monitor it on the speaker itself. 3: Lots of fun little features like the ability to chain speakers together for a massive system, support for mics and guitars, and pass-through charging for your phone. 4: The handle, while folded in, also works as a grip to hold your phone or tablet. I don't know how big of a tablet, but my iPhone in landscape mode sat on the top with no issue and had plenty of space left over. 5: While there is room for a larger battery, unlike most speakers today, you can actually remove the battery and swap it with a fresh one, so that's still a win in my book. The battery also lowers the power output of the unit, which makes sense, so if you want full power, plug it in. I didn't seem to find any noticeable differences when I tested it with the plug and battery alone, but then again, I wasn't cranking it up max either, so your mileage may vary in this respect. I imagine a portable battery backup system would power this thing far longer, but the portability really is nice. Overall, the few cons I had are not enough for me to not recommend this. It's a great speaker and if you like JBL over other brands, you can't lose with this one.

Got this on a sale, pretty good value for a quality wireless speaker. It's fairly loud, and the bass sounds pretty good and balanced around 65% volume. I have not messed with the equalizer settings, but one thing ive noticed is the bass is kind of unwieldy. At low volumes, the bass seems to drown out the mids and highs, and at high volumes the mids and highs are most of what you can hear. At max volume, the battery only lasts about 2 hours or so, I normally just keep mine plugged in. Was able to get it to last for about a full day at 30% volume, and it was still pretty listenable, not too quiet.

Great compact all-in-one PA system. Good volume, small size and low weight.

Great sound and bass had the PartyBox 110 previously and the 120 still has the same overall problems the 110 had (battery life mainly) no lights and first bass setting and it drains extremely quickly if JBL could fix this it would be so nice but overall good product but I’d pay $250 for another 110 before I’d pay 400 for the 120 again

It has a very good sound, but in general it complies with everything. It is a little short in terms of power but it is to be expected since it is the smallest version easy to move in general good purchase for small events not more than 20 people

Speaker was good, it was loud and had really good bass, but when trying to use a mic with it in the first mic port it would not work and would only give terrible feedback. Two different mics one corded and bluetooth and the same result. For that reason I took a start away just in case it was user error.

With the risk of sounding like a boomer (im only in my 30’s lol), i actually think this speaker is TOO bass forward. I mostly listen to hard rock and tech house where bass is a key ingredient, but no matter how much i mess with the settings, i feel like vocals get drowned out a bit, even on lower volumes. I’ve also only used in a small indoor space so far, so outdoors or in a party setting this might be perfect! Either way, got it open box excellent condition for just about half price, so i really can’t complain. I have several JBL products and will continue to buy them! They always have great sound at a really fair price point! But youve been warned: if you buy this speaker, get ready for BASS IN YA FACE! :)

Does everything I wanted it to. I just wish it had wheels. Its fairly easy to cary and its heavy duty! I dont use the extra buttons and only use it as a Bluetooth speaker. I work outside a lot and this is great... also jams when playing old man softball.

Very clean, equal bass and vocal tones as well. Lights are great and a very good bang for your buck! Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because I would have gone for the bigger version and bought 2 of them to get the stadium sound I truly wanted. Best believe this speaker is absolutely worth it, but I believe if I wanted a stadium sound in 1 speaker, the bigger version would be the next buy.
