Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. With our JBL Pulse 5, please try using a different USB cable and USB charger (preferably one with a minimum 2 amp rating), as well as unplugging and re-plugging the cable from your device. The product's charging port may also become clogged with sand or grit. Examine the port. If necessary, use compressed air to clean. I have other JBL speakers, but this one don’t really have the depth In the sound. Sounds like I’m listening to the radio.

Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. With our JBL Pulse 5, source devices (phones, tablets, etc.) all behave a bit differently. Some have very loud outputs, and some can be quite a bit lower, even at maximum volumes. You may try to use an equalizer on your music application to adjust the volume to your preference.
