Avid music listener not yet a audiophile. Best headphones especially with the Custom EQs available through the JBL app. Great instrument separation and nice lows.

These are by far the best headphones offered by best buy. The only headphones I would consider to be better are the Focal Bathys and the Bower and Wilkins px7 s3. The price is high but it is justified by wonderful sound quality as long as you are willing to work with the EQ settings, endless customization, an included wireless receiver, high quality microphone phone quality, great comfort, and excellent transparency mode. Hands down would buy this again over the Sony XM6 and the Bose ultra comfort.

The aviators were a must for my bf. Got them as a gift and he was so excited. He has many high quality hps frommany brands. He says these stand alone in design and the spunt quality is good but crisp clear. Overall happy with purchasing.

The Smart Tx transmitter is a game changer that allows me to retain the quality and functionality of these headphones no matter what. Whether using a plane’s entertainment system or a game console. The sound quality, especially when I set the eq setting to (jazz) and utilize spatial sound for movies really gives these headphones such amazing clarity, deep and rich bass, and organic vocals. These settings is something I use continuously for movies and music. I just can’t believe how much I can hear and the spatial sound is the best in my opinion. The noise cancellation and transparency is definitely up there with the Airpods Max and Sony - WH100XM6 which is really incredible. Worth the price!

Bought the headphones, sound very good, but everything else is not good, 1. the smart transmitter/controller crashes all the time 2. the headphones occasionally turn off by itself in the middle of a song 3. occasional dropouts at times on bluetooth connection 4. will not hold the spatial settings on power off, everytime power on must go to the jbl app to reset them, 5. the jbl app to control settings will not download on a apple mac, only will download to a iphone/ipad (choose not to opt-in the app to a mac). the headphones sound OK, will return these phones

Very solid headphones with great battery life and detailed sound.

I bought these headphones back in December and have been using them every day since, the sound quality is really good, really deep bass, noise canceling blocks out everything, the weight feels very light that I almost forget I’m wearing them, I can go almost two whole days before I need to charge, I highly recommend getting these headphones.

Don't believe the "hype"... these headphones beat Apple/Beats versions of their top models hands down. Plus the multi-BlueTooth connections are great and ambient sound mode surpasses the other 2 models mentioned. JBL knocks it out again with this updated 2025 Aviator release.

Nice headphone set, but was not what I needed. I went to return these and Best Buy and they returned my money, but did not refund me the membership that I purchased at the same time because of the headphones so be very careful when you purchase any memberships you may not get that back I’m still trying.

great headphones, the auto sensing when they are on or off your head made the audio cut in and out. so i turned that feature off.

Although these headphones are comfortable to wear for many hours, for the price I find that the noise canceling capabilities are not the best. I like that I can choose between ambient noise and noise canceling. I also like that I can pause, skip a song and adjust the volume all on the headphones themselves.

Excellent headphones but the volume could be more on par with Sony M6. Noise canceling is superb.

The sound quality is great. They're not particularly loud, but all around solid headphones. The option to use them as wired or wireless headphones is pretty nice too.

The battery life is awsome and the clarity and the bigger driver is great
