I initially loved my JBL headphones—they delivered great sound quality, deep bass, and were comfortable for long periods. The battery life was impressive, lasting through multiple days of use without needing a recharge. However, after a few months, the reliability started to decline. The battery began to die frequently, and the sound would cut out during calls or while streaming music. Despite resetting and troubleshooting, these issues persisted, making them frustrating to use. What started as a solid product has unfortunately become unreliable, and I can't recommend them anymore.

I bought these for the price and the experience Ive had with the JBL Charge and similar speakers for sound and reliability. I am currently on my 3rd pair of these noise canceling earbuds. The first pair lacked bass and quickly had issues. Best Buy replaced without an issue. The 2nd pair had much better sound quality and deeper bass as I expect from JBL. The 2nd pair syarted having issues after a little time. While using them, the sound would stop and restart in a couple seconds. It would donthis 3-4 times an hour or more, but when playing still sounded great. I replaced them a couple days ago. Ths pair, the erd pair does not have the sound quality and lacks bass which was present in the 2nd pair. The moise canceling on each pair was far from active noise canceling. In the gym, with my music playing and the active noise control on, I can easily hear conversations 15 feet away. I am disappointed in the lack of noise canceling and consistent sound quality between each pair. JBL needs to step up their quality in these style earbuds. I wouldn't buy them again unless they were my only option.

Love the sound Quality, The setting for noise cancelling is Legit as well as the pass through sound its very even and clear. The battery life is awesome! The sleek design of the case fits well in my pocket and is comfortable. The distance they stay paired away from my phone is better than most. The NEGATIVE: I bought these 10/26/23 and on 1/30/24 the right bud stopped working. Out of date for a return or exchange and trying to reach out for a manufacture warranty with no response yet.

Was good at first after a few months the left earbud quit charging and connecting. When both are working it’s a good product they fit well and the noise canceling works great.

I purchased almost a year ago. Good sound, battery life is good, and are fit in ear good. After six months charging case issues. Tried to warranty but Best Buy would not do anything and JBL good luck. Maybe my luck but not worth the price to me if only good for that short of time period.

Terrible, it has not been a year and I already have a second pair that the right earbud won’t connect to my phone. No wonder Apple AirPods are the best and price at that range. Two stars because when they work the sounds is good and battery life too.

When they work perfectly, they are fantastic! Touch-sensitive controls for pause/play and three levels of noise cancellation. Very comfortable. Sound great! 50% of the time they do NOT work great. Losing sound every 5 seconds. Then the left ear pod stops working completely. JBL tech sport is useless in this case. Re-pairing with any consistency is impossible... you just have to get lucky for them to work. Really frustrating. Googling shows this is not an isolated incident.

Sounds good but not very loud. They stayed in my ear and is a good design. Problem, it kept losing connection all of the time, and it doesn't matter of the device, 3 times during 1 call of 35 minutes. Lost connection to the music a lot too.

We appreciate your feedback. Bluetooth typically performs well within a 30-foot range, but walls, obstacles, and other wireless devices can impede this. If you experience dropouts within 10 feet, there may be interference. To resolve the issue with your JBL Tune 235NC, ensure it is within 10 feet of your device with a clear line of sight (no obstacles). Try to forget/unpair the speaker on your device, and initiate a reset. To reset your unit, first make sure that the case is not charging, tap the right earbud twice and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. Reset will wipe all previous settings and pairings, so it will be necessary to pair your unit with your devices again. I gave these earbuds 2 stars because I really like the sound and the longevity of the charge however the left earbud fails all the time!!! This is so frustrating!! I turn bluetooth off and on, I unpair them but sometimes it fixes the problem but most often it does not.

They worked good for 7 months, after a few times with connection issues both on phone and laptop. Sound quality is actually pretty good. After a while the right earbud volume drop to basically nothing. Factory reset and still same issue.

We're here to help with your JBL Tune 230NC TWS. We recommend periodically cleaning it using rubbing alcohol applied to a cotton swab to degrease it. Additionally, you may try to carefully dip the tip of the earbuds into a solution of lukewarm tap water and a small amount of dish soap at a maximum depth of 1-2mm only. After immersing it for 2-3 minutes, you may wipe or clean it with a small brush. It is also necessary to perform a factory reset of the earbuds. To do it, double tap the right bud and hold it on the 3rd tap for 5 seconds while they're out of the charging case, then put the earbuds back in the case to complete the reset. If the issue remains, please note that this product comes with a one-year warranty, you may contact our customer support via our official website for assistance.

They work great ... when they work. I bought these for their noise cancelling. But noise cancelling only works when both ear pieces are in use. And after about three weeks, The right ear pice would intermittently charge, and also the app wouldn't even recognize it half the time. I had to fidget with it in and out of the case before I got the app to see it. And when it did finally see it, sometimes it had 100% charge, and sometimes it had 10% charge. At 10% charge, it wouldn't last long and I would lose Noise cancelling. Now, almost every time the right ear piece does not work right out of the case. The left ear piece has always charged and worked perfectly. This is all too much frustration for what should be a straight forward device. Unfortunately, I bought a set of these for my wife also. Hers have not had this same issue yet, thus two stars rather than just one. Based on my personal experience and the frustration this thing has given me, I would not recommend these.

Bought these back im december 2023. Worked great but not the ritht earbud won't charge and continues to stay connected even though it's in the case closed. Which, by itself isn't a big deal but when I'm on a phone interview and it keeps cutting out of my phonecall to connect to my headset on another floor, it gets a bit irriating. Even when i turn my bluetooth off, a pop up on my phone keeps asking me to connect. I haven't even had them for 2 years. Either get yourself a warrenty and make sure that specific problem is covered (i see others with the same issue) or try something else.

I received these yesterday, charged the case and buds (or so I thought) and started using them. I then discoveed after multiple attempts that the left bud won't accept a charge. Taking them back to Best Buy today for a replacement or a different model number. Great sound and the app make customizing the sound really easy.

The noise canceling isn't as good as Apple's or the Buds'. It works well when audio is playing, but it doesn't block out noise when no media is being played. I don't find them very comfortable to wear for hours, and they are also almost impossible to use for sleeping because the earphones fall out when you're lying down. The sound quality is just okay (or 'decent') when compared to Apple devices. A strong point is the battery, which lasts a long time. I would bought Buds or spend more on a Apple Device.

Really inconsistent reliability here. Unfortunately the right side tends to drop off and not produce much in terms of volume. Many times the headphones have stopped working even though they’re completely charged. They’re comfortable but at I won’t be buying anything from JBL in terms of earbuds for a while. Im going to have to buy a different pair from another brand. Oh well…

The first few months the earbuds worked great. However after that it one of the buds will not work. A quick search online and there is similar reports. Specifically my left ear bud drains quickly and/or doesn't hold a charge anymore. Just having out of the case for 10 minutes will drain it completely. Beware when purchasing this product if you want a long lasting product.
