Earbud doesn't pair or have sound. Only used for 2 months occasionally. First jbl product I'm dissapointed with

The JBL Tune Buds sound great when they are fully seated in your ears — and that’s only about the first 30 seconds because the fit is awful… like someone shoved a hockey puck in my ear. I called JBL product support to see if they might have additional ear tips available to improve the fit. They don’t. The support rep suggested I return them but I was past the 14 day return period. I knew the fit might be an issue but chose them because someone claiming to be a mastering engineer left a glowing review. The sound is clean and punchy, very dynamic, not flat and lifeless. I can hear musical details I’ve not heard with any other earbuds. But without a good fit it’s difficult to get the bass sounding balanced. The good: battery life, case is compact, sound quality vs. cost, app, noise canceling, ambient sound pass through, and call quality. Of particular note is the ability to play a tone to help locate a lost earbud. I used this after dropping an earbud in an airplane. The passenger in the seat behind me heard it and found my earbud. This feature alone is brilliant. The app is also well done and useful to dial in the sound and features. Connection is nearly instantaneous and it’s good for a very long distance (porch to garage, about 60’ through 5 walls). The only downside is the fit, and unfortunately it’s a Very Big Deal.

Waited until I have had these for a few months before reviewing, but I am electing to replace these headphones for ones with a different design. Pros: -Good sound thats adjustable with the JBL app. -Noise cancelling works great - blocks out any annoying distractions when I am working in office, or at the gym. -Battery life beats my old airpods. Have only had to charge the case once and I use them almost daily. Cons -CONSTANTLY falling out of my ears. Maybe I have abnormally large ear holes - but anything more active than sitting will have these sagging out of my ears with the included Large sized buds. -When exercising and trying to adjust these into my ears, I always end up pressing the touch controls on the side, which will pause music or disable the noise cancelling.

Need to be louder. Great quality, bass isn’t that great. It’s like once volume reaches half way that’s basically it. It doesn’t get any louder, quick sync, super fast recharge. Comfortable fit unlike others sets I’ve bought from JBL. I use them around machinery but while on break I just want to turn them up full blast an im disappointed

They're good earbuds. There's no volume control. Finding the right rubber tips to fit your ear is the real challeng since they don't properly snug in your ear. Not worth $100 but worth it if on sale for $50.

The sound quality is nice and the bass is great but they will not stay in my ears. Ive changed the cushions to the different sizes and its the same.

Sound is okay. What I expected. But the medium ear buds are too small while the large ear buds are too big. And don’t even try considering wearing these when exercising or if you have oily ears. They’ll fall right in out.

Volume is a little low compared to the more expensive models. 93db vs 98db for $199 ones . The app is also a pain if you need to adjust anything after a while the app will need to reload. Also you have to pic between features for left or right only thing is they are preset . No custom so i had to pick between ambient sound control like the noise canceling and talk thru and playback control . I could have just got some skull candy ones way cheaper. Anyways its cool at $50 price .

Sound was ok, the bass was where they really shined. My biggest problem, they didn't fit or stay in my ears for long which was why i had to take them back

Sound was good. Battery was also good. Unfortunately it kept falling off even with different tips. returned it.

I like the quality of sound and battery. But doesnt fit right in my ear mostly droped when i am doing my daily activity. I hope they come up better with that .

These are okay, but not great. They do not stay in my ears well no matter which size ear tips I use or how I adjust/turn them in my ears. Constantly falling out. Noise canceling is good, but I often touch the control by mistake which takes it out of noise canceling mode.

Sound quality is good--the app lets you adjust the tone and volume. Comes with 3 different size foam fittings for your ears. But, at least in my case, it was difficult to get the earbuds to stay in my ears, no matter which size I tried.

These ear buds function fairly well, but I have two issues with them. One, there is no volume control on the ear buds - you've to control it from your phone or device. Second, the way they fit is the case is very awkward. The shape of the bud is tapered so that one can't grip it sufficiently to remove it from the case. If my fingers are the least bit damp, I find it impossible to extract them.

They don’t stay in the ear and the capability with iPhones are not so good.

Only reason i give 3 stars is because the earbuds itself are kind of big, so it does NOT fit perfectly in my ears. The sound quality is good. I prefer my earbuds to be a bit louder than these, but the noise cancelation makes up for it.

Doesn't stay connected well if trying to listen to audiobooks, but overall pretty good. I use it when running and it's pretty good for listening to music as I run. Talk-thru feature is lacking as well, but ambient aware and noise cancelling work well.

Earbud keep falling out. Good sound and noise canceling. But annoying that they keep falling out. Even tried the other ear insert sizes and didn't help.

Great sound quality but if you are a runner, beware of these. The bud itself is too heavy so the bud is always trying to fall out of your ear. Especially after you start to sweat.
