After my humble SkullCandy Jib 2 earbuds started to go out on me, I went an bought these JBL earbuds hoping they would be a suitable replacement. I am a month into owning them, and I am very disappointed so far. I have a few other JBL products and they have always served me well, which is the reason I purchased these earbuds. They don't even come close to the old skullcandy earbuds I rocked for years. The sound is decent, the volume sucks, and these things barely sit in your ears even after trying all the tip sizes. These earbuds get a workout since I have a desk job, and I listen to a lot of podcasts. My old skullcandy earbuds would only have to be at 10/100 volume and even that was a little loud most days. These things have to be up to at least 50/100 to get the same volume. The most disappointing thing about these earbuds is that my "return" window ended two days ago, otherwise these would be on their way back to the store right now. Do yourself a favor and go buy a different pair of ear buds!

I have had my set for a month when all of a sudden one side stopped being as loud as the other. I cleaned it and tried it again. I had a family member also try it to make sure it was not my ear and they had the same result. When they functioned the sound quality was great. I assume I got a bad set. I did my research online and see this is a common problem. So maybe get the extended warranty. The return policy to the store is just a couple of weeks.

At first, I really liked these JBL earbuds. The sound quality was good, with strong bass and clear audio, and they were comfortable to wear. Pairing was easy, and they worked well for daily use. Unfortunately, after a short time they stopped working completely. I tried resetting them and using different devices, but nothing fixed the issue. It was disappointing because I expected better durability from a well-known brand. Overall, they were good while they lasted, but the reliability was a letdown. I wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience.

Nothing but problems and inconveniences. I have been using these for 2 weeks and they are extremely disappointing. These are valued at $100, but they aren't worth that price. The main issues are connectivity and touchy controls. The right earbud stopped working and won't connect. I tried resetting many times and it just won't connect. The controls are so touchy, any minor adjustment for ear fit/comfortably reaults in the controls being activated. They don't have any sensors in the ear pieces either, so removing a bud won't pause your music or shut off the controls. The noise cancelation works okay but it's nothing special. The only reason why I'm not giving one star, is because the sound quality is really good. It's a shame everything else is so bad. Honestly, spend a little more and get Airpods or something similar.

We appreciate your feedback with our JBL Tune Flex. The two earpieces should normally be connected together without issue. However, sometimes wireless interference may cause corruption between the connection of the two earpieces. Please try forgetting your device from the source before pairing it again. We also recommend using our JBL Headphones App, where you can adjust the gestures. If you need further assistance, please contact us.

Good sound control and battery length. Headphones fall out of ear too easy. Case easily damages after a few drops then stops charging and operating.

These have not been as nice as I hoped they would be for $80 earbuds. They have had charging issues for the majority of the time I've had them, and the fit has never been as nice as I hoped. I got them because they looked like old AirPods (I don't like the new ones), but the fit is different. They cannot be used for workouts at all, which is a big drawback for me. The noise canceling is weird too. Currently making a warranty claim on them because each day I have no idea if they actually charged in the case or not. Hoping the next set is more reliable.

Was good for a year, dropped the left headphone once and you could hear thw speaker rattle after that. Also I have to stick a piece of paper in the case for the headphones to charge.

The sound quality is excellent. The battery duration is also very lengthy, however my issue is how the buds feel in ear. After a few days my ears hurt and it is very discomforting. I tried all sizes on the silicone attachments, and none as well to no avail it still was uncomfortable in ear.

Theyre just OK. I got these for around $30 after sale and gift card. I would never get these again. Theres so much wind noise if youre outside, i dont recall my airpods ever having this and ive never had noise cancellation. My wired apple headphones are still superior to this. And as others have stated, the controls are very sensitive and you also need to hit them in a specific spot to do what you need. Ive also had a few times where its unpaired from my phone. Sad..

Has a great fair battery, but hurts to wear, is not as loud as i thought. I wish I had great this to say about this product but is really hard to use in so many ways. But my worst complaint is that is way to uncomfortable to use. so im going to return the product.

I purchased these when they were $100, which was only a few days before they got marked down (just my luck). I lost my 1st gen airpod pros and was looking for a solid pair without breaking the bank. Gave these a spin and at first I thought they were fine, but then noticed all the little things like getting them out the case and trying to adjust them in ear without accidentally pressing pause. Tried them at the gym and music doesnt get loud enough to get you through a work out. The final straw for me was when i was using them for my commute to work in the city - the noice cancelling is TRASH. Ended up getting the lastest gen airpod pros and difference is night and day. So much better. If you need headphones for light use, these will do. Anything else - i wouldnt bother.

We appreciate your feedback. For your JBL Tune Flex to give you the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal to achieve the best seal and secure fit. Also, the Active Noise Cancelling level can be adjusted on our JBL Headphones App. If you need more help, please contact us.

They sound good, they have a lot of bass, but I can’t use them because they hurt my ears a lot and they don’t come with extra tips. I don’t know if it’s the material or the shape, but they certainly do not work out for me.

I love the JBL sound. These earbuds did not let me down when it came to their sound quality. 5-stars hands down! But: the silicon tips are just way too shallow and do not reach far enough into my ears for me to get a secure stable snug fit. The slightest movement the "sweet spot" is gone. This is the second pair of JBl earbuds that I'm going to have to sell to a coworker. Yes: I tried all three sizes of the tips before I wrote this review. I really wanted to keep the buds...

These headphones provided good audio quality, but the ambient audio did not work. I was not able to hear conversations while wearing them with music at a very low level.

Started off well. Great sound volume and crisp audio quality. This earbud automatically turns down. Plays audio at a low frequency. At the highest level the sound is still very low.

I like to run. I find that I can hear the wind in the earphone while I’m listening to music. I don’t like that. There may be an app for settings, but when you adjust the earpiece it stops the music and is not really intuitive (it doesn’t start back on its own or with another tap). There is a setting that you can tap to hear “ambient noise” and also “noise cancelling” so it’s nice that they are both an option, but I haven’t noticed a big difference.

The connection isn't instant. Additionally, if you receive or make a call while connected, it disconnects immediately after answering. It’s also not very comfortable to wear. Mine stopped working after three months and no longer holds a charge.

Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Tune Flex. We recommend cleaning the contact pins on the case and earbuds using a cotton swab with alcohol. Charging issues are frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts. This can include sweat, grease, ear wax, etc. Please ensure the pins are dried before placing them back on the case. Also, when answering the call, change the audio route setting in Settings. If you need more help, we'd like to work with you directly. Please contact our customer support for assistance.

Were amazing until 5 months later and one ear bud will no longer charge so now I can only use the left one. Defeats the purpose of noise cancellation and using them in general. I bought a cheaper pair of JBLs a year or 2 ago and they were great so I decided to upgrade but apparently that was the wrong decision. Can’t believe I’m already having issues with them especially since they aren’t used on a daily basis. Very disappointed and a waste of my hard earned money. Too late I’m sure for a return.

I have had these headphones for less than 6 months and my right earbud already has problems charging. Even after cleaning the charge points on both device and case it still does not charge.
