My family has really enjoyed this speaker, we have used it weekly for a year now and are happy with it. We use it inside mostly but we have taken it to the river, beach, and use it outside during yard work. I like that you can use it while plugged in or on battery power. Good sound quality, good volume level, holds plenty of charge.

I have the JBL Charge 3 and the JBL Boombox as well as this JBL Xtreme2 and they all serve their purposes for me. The charge 3 is for personal on the go music (kayaking/biking), the boombox is for larger louder outdoor gatherings. The Xtreme2 is truly the best dynamic/full/clear sounding speaker, it's exceptional for listening to moderate to low volumes, where most personal speakers fail. We use it mostly indoors or outside on the deck if it's just my wife and I. You can actually hear the stereo separation which is unusual for these small speakers. The Unit is well built, nice looking (IMO), and lasts a very long time per battery charge. ALSO NOTE: I returned the first one I bought because I did the firmware update (which you can not revert back from) on the original Unit. This, IMO ruined the beautiful sound. I confirmed with Best Buy that you cannot go back to the original firmware once updated, and was advised to return the unit if I was unhappy with it, which I did. I then purchased another unit and left it alone, no updates, and it is now my favorite, best sounding bluetooth speaker ever. Although some people say the Xtreme2's volume doesn't go loud enough, I believe it's plenty loud, and NEVER distorts even at full volume. If I need Louder Volume, I have the Boombox for Ultra Loud Volumes, but It's the Xtreme2 that gives the most true, clear, full sound, and is the most used speaker of my JBL family.

What else can you say other then it a JBL. From the great sound quality (plugged in or on the go), great multi speaker connectivity to it's ease of use and great battery life. I Definitely recommend this speaker.

Great speaker. Easy to charge and connect. Battery life and size is perfect. Love the strap you can use and the bass is on point. Really recommend it.

I use this a lot actually, it’s a substitute for my car radio since it stopped working after someone did a faulty jump. Music sounds better through this than the car’s sound system honestly. People don’t realize it’s coming from it when they’re riding with me until I go to turn it off. High quality speaker that lasts for hours! I also like the strap that comes with it because it had some weight to it for sure. Only con I could think of is it’s hard to move the little rubber cover over where you plug it in to charge it sometimes.

I bought this speaker to bring with me on a family trip and we used it the entire weekend! It was very easy to pair anyone's phone with it, and the sound quality was superb! You can actually watch the woofers vibrate with the base on the sides, and the included strap makes it very portable!

I love my JBL speakers there are no other speaker to buy for the price you pay to have the best sound quality, water proof. This speaker I call it my loud and proud. battery life is excellent too! it also come with a strap for carrying.

So far the speaker is a great speaker I’ve only had it for a few days so far but I’ve had other JBL products and know that they’re really good products the only thing is it’s a little heavy but the build quality is very good. I also really like the carrying strap that it comes with.

This jbl extreme 2 is awesome and loud and with it being portable makes it even better,I would recommend it to anyone that loves music and portable speakers that you don’t need to keep plugged in

So I have bought a lot at Best Buy, I'm an employee, so when I needed a speaker I did a lot of asking around to see what everyone recommended. Almost everyone recommended JBL for sound quality and price and they were right. The price is a little steep but this speaker is everything I ever wanted. It pairs seamlessly to all types of phones (pixel, samsung and iPhone). It also can connect up to 100 other JBL speakers to it which means a lot of sound. It's called Daisy pairing and it works, I have connected 5 other JBL speakers to it (a clip, a charge and 2 flip 4's) during a bonfire. The sound is insane! I've had this sucker up all the way on every level and it didn't even inkle to blow and wasn't distorted in the slightest.

Overall it’s a great speaker, nice sound quality. The only thing for me was I was expecting it to be a bit louder than it is and more Bass, but besides that it’s nice.

I use this when I’m on my onewheel amazing sound and the shoulder strap comes in clutch you don’t even realize you have it on. Links with my boom box and my charge 4 so it’s a party every where I go

The sound quality on this speaker is by far the most powerful sound I've heard from and Bluetooth speaker. It has both treble and bass, which neither downs the other out. The strap that comes with it makes it so much more nicer and convenient. It almost bring back the early 2000s, and or 90s when boom boxes where the fad. Except this comes with an ergonomic strap that allows for more comfort and ease when carrying around. This is a must have for any Bluetooth speaker enthusiast. And I highly recommend this product when ever anyone asks me about Bluetooth speakers.

I’ve bought many Bluetooth speakers in the past for work and always with they could go louder and have more bass. This has great mids and deep bass especially for its size. It shocks me sometimes in my excavator when in jamming out. Is spendy but you get what you pay for. Battery lasts all day!

This is amazing portable bluetooth speaker i’ve ever purchased. You know the beat part of it is that you can connect multiple of it. The bass is great. You could really feel the music with crisp sound.
