About This Item
This 7Inch features two tracks from the short-lived Twinight tag out of Chicago. The company, which peaked in the late '60s and early '70s, was known for their biggest star, the super soulful Syl Johnson. Josephine Taylor's 1969 single, InchI've Made Up My MindInch, is a bras- peppered funker with a driving bass line behind Josephine's strutting vocal. It was the climax of her short career that started with three 45's for the Mar-V-Lus tag. Cut with Krystal Generation's 1970 side InchSatisfiedInch, the female four-piece from Chicago released several singles on Gene Chandler's Mister Chand tag. The track revolves around the vocals of Darlene Arnold, who recorded several sides in her own right, and some glorious harmonies and sassy Stax-like horns. Album Tracks 1. Is It Worth a Chance 2.
