A: it can vent either outside or just use the recirculating option (which is how it is setup out of the box). This is how we are using it and it works well with a gas range and cooking on the grill of our range,

A: The labels on all the buttons on my Over-the-Range KitchenAid microwave wore off in the first 18 months of use. For the price of this microwave, one would think that something so simple would not fail.

A: Hello Thomas, the KMLS311HSS does come with Filler kits Filler Panel Kits are available from your dealer to use when installing this microwave oven in a 36" (91.4 cm) or 42" (106.7cm) wide opening. The filler panels come in pairs. Each panel is 3" (7.6 cm) wide. 8171339 Stainless Steel part number. Please see your installation instructions in the "Accessory" area.
