KitchenAid electric wall oven: Cook up a delicious meal for your family with this wall oven, which features simple-to-use touch controls that allow you to begin baking on your schedule, even if you aren't at home, using the delay-start option. The Even-Heat preheat and True Convection ensure consistent temperatures throughout the oven.
Q: Is this a self-cleaning oven?
A: It says it is, but I would recommend you research "blown thermal fuses" on this model. The self clean function can cause the thermal fuses to blow, due to the high heat of self cleaning. This is a design flaw which you need to be aware of. Many people don't find out about this problem until they have an out of warranty repair required for this. There is no "fix" for it, and Kitchenaid has no plans for one. The solution I was given by the factory tech was, "Don't use the self clean function". I had two warranty repairs for this problem and I expect I will have many more repairs necessary over the life of this oven for blown fuses. Fortunately, I can repair this myself, but many can't. It requires fully removing the oven in order to access all fuses.
A: Hi Jerome, while the size is compatible, with the Built In Microwave cutout being 22 1/4, and can be installed over in it's own space, it will not mount. We hope this helps.
A: Hello Deb, this is normal. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our KitchenAid appliances!
Q: Can the convection mode be turned off, or is it on all the time?
A: The bake, broil, and proof buttons are for conventional. Press convect mode for convection.
Q: Is this a Convection oven only or does it do regular broiling and baking?
A: Hello! This model has regular conventional baking and broiling as well. We hope this helps.
A: Hello Corboard753, this model is not fingerprint resistant. We hope this helps.
A: This oven is an overpriced $2800.00 piece of crap. It will blow the fuse every time you use self cleaning mode and Kitchenaid could care less. At the very top of the door in the front there’s a lever you can pull back with a bent “hooked” large zip tie. Lemon law time. Never again will it be a Kitchenaid
