If I could give negative stars I would 10 months of moderate use the entire motor burnt out and took over 2 months for them to find their own parts to repair. Dishwasher worked for 2 weeks. 3 days before Thanksgiving, dead again. I’ll be lucky if I have a functioning dishwasher by the new year. Repair person cannot come for 2 weeks to look and say yup, broken again, then the whole circus begins. I hope the person that sold it to me, every member of her family and every exec at KitchenAid experience major appliance failure continually from now to eternity. Photo is of the corpse dishwasher. installed 4 month ago and today I figured out that bolt on the side wasn't tighten enough and dishwasher slowly leaked all this time. next available appointment is 12 days away. my floor is damaged and I have to deal with the mold. did not expected this quality control issues from kitchenaid.

We never wanted to buy this expensive dishwasher. Unfortunately, all other brand dishwashers were out of stock for 2 month. Covid. Best Buy Installed the Dishwasher. It stopped working within 96 hours of installation. F8E4 - Error Code Best Buy replaced it after 10 days. Reinstalled the new one and assured us this will never happen again. The 2nd Kitchen Aid stops working every 20 days. Same Error - F8E4 . We did not get the Best Buy service so they can't help us. Kitchen Aid Helpline kept me on hold for 4 hours and then dropped the call. I wrote to them and they confirmed a date / time someone will come to repair it. No one showed up. We bought it in August 2020. We still don't have a proper functioning dishwasher. Every time F8E4 - Error Code comes, the dishwasher won't work. We unplug it for a week and then it starts working again for a few weeks before it breaks down . Even when it works, some spoons and dishes are not clean. PLEASE DO NOT BUY . KitchenAid has ZERO Service. We might have to waste money and buy a new one. I am going back to Bosch. It lasted 15 years and the dishes were immaculate.

This dishwasher is loud. I’m not sure how other people think it’s quiet. I thought I had a defective one and had it exchanged… it’s still loud. It’s louder than my kenmoore that was 10 years old. Do not recommend. I’m exchanging it for a Bosch. I went with this one because of the third rack, but I’ll take a smaller third rake for quiet.

Was delivered and installed by geek squad/bestbuy. It failed with error F8 E4 within 3 weeks or so. Took bestbuy a week to replace. Today, about 4 weeks after replacement, it failed again with the exact same error. I am going to return this dishwasher and stay away from KitchenAid going forward ... very bad product, extremely disappointed.

I'm giving this dishwasher a poor review because I STILL haven't received it yet! It was supposed to be delivered and installed today (after 2 weeks) and the technician did not show up! Although the appointment was confirmed by phone and text, the technician cancelled it and, when I called, I was told that I have to reschedule...in five more days!

I purchased this KitchenAid less than one year ago and almost immediately it overflowed and leaked onto our kitchen floor. It has happened at least 6-8 times post the return period but within the one-year warranty period. Each time, I have had to resolve the issue myself with a full load of dishes and late-night occurence. The Total Tech installation service was also faulty and violated my town's electrical code causing it to fail the electrical inspection. I had to pay a different electrician to correct the issue. The installers also did not install the sound-dampening insulation blanket as well. Basically, the value of the Total Tech experience has been utterly awful. I would not recommend either this dishwasher model nor the Total Tech program. We had other issues with TV wall mounting as well, and have since eliminated our Total Tech membership and will not purchase a major appliance from Best Buy in the future either.

Lasted for 18 months now needs a new motor…just junk!

The dishwasher is great!!! Love it. The install is what was sad to say the least. We will never purchase another appliance from Best Buy again. Their install company did not care what their employees did. They scratched up our wood floor after I warned them about a couple of times during the install. Sure enough, the floor is scratched. Then I have to go through another company that supposedly was to take care of the damages. Tried with pictures and explanations. But not worth the time and effort. Never again with Best Buy when an install is required.

Very loud. Buzzing noise the entire time running. Only feature we love are the LED lights. I wish the delivery guy could bring back our old white dishwasher. Looking for a much quieter replacement.

I bought this dishwasher to replace a similar Kitchenaid dishwasher that leaked after 3 years. This dishwasher leaked the very first time I used it when brand new. Aside from that, the dishes on the top rack don't get clean. The prior Kitchenaid dishwasher, when it wasn't leaking, completely cleaned everything on the top rack. I also find the new V-shaped top-rack to be a useless waste of space. It's supposed to be for cups but doesn't fit anything taller than a coffee cup. I'm finding that I can't fit as much stuff in this one as I could in the previous model. Another thing that annoys me is that there are several features that can be enabled/disabled for the wash. The previous model would remember all previously used settings. This one clears itself every time and you have to push 4 buttons to start it instead of just one.

We already spent money on new rack parts last year. Now the control panel inside the door is coming off. We refuse to pay anymore. I rather buy a less expensive unit and replace it, instead of buying new parts for something I already spent a lot of money on. Buying 2 dishwashers within 10 years would still be less money than buying this machine. For the money this dishwasher should of lasted 10 years, at least.
