I was so excited to get this dishwasher, my first new dishwasher in 15 years. It looks great, and matches my other appliances. But, in less than a year the top and middle rack rails have started to rust and that makes it harder to pull the racks. The handle has come loose several times, and while the unit works well and has a sleek look, I'm not sure how long it will hold up.

Love the look. Love the 3rd rack for putting small items and items that need to be away from the heat. The unit does a great job cleaning the dishes...4 months after purchasing this very expensive dishwasher, it stopped working. No power whatsoever. The Electrician confirmed no issue with getting power to the unit. After exhaustive attempts to get warranty repair, 3 weeks later, a repairman showed up and, in 2 minutes, diagnosed the issue. It needs a new motherboard and control panel. It is literally 4 months old and cost over $1,400. How can these parts already be bad and is this an indication of what will continue to happen in the future? The parts have to be ordered, of course. Now, a week later no contact from anyone regarding the status of the parts order. Another 30 minutes on hold trying to get through to Kitchenade warranty, then having to give them all of the information again, including model and serial number, purchase date...still on hold with warranty department and DISCONNECTED!! Try to get help from the chat? It is a bot and can not recognize any of my inquires.

Dishwasher was ordered on 2/15/2024 but b/o till 4/15/2024. Odd that it is on sale and no stock. I received my 1st review request on this in March.. The dishwasher came in and getting ready to install when it was discovered there was a dent on the front. I was told they would get another next day. Installer went to pick up unit but none was at the store. After many phone calls and a couple of visits to the store it was discovered that there were no units and the one that showed in the system was the one that was sent to me. My question is if the unit was on b/o and you had one sold, why would you only order one?? The dishwasher was b/o another two months. It showed up in mid June and the company that installed the unit were great. I found that the normal cycles seems to clean fine but the short cycle not so much. Only used the dishwasher a few times.

The design and features are fine, but the washer doesn't get the dishes clean. Even using the "tough" cycle, the load must be run two or three times before the dishes are clean enough to put away. We rinse the dishes and flatware before loading, but food particles still remain after a single washing and often seem baked on.
