Pros: It is very well styled. I love the design. It is truly fingerprint resistant and almost truly fingerprint poof. The second rack is very easy to adjust the height. The light feature is everything I never knew I needed. It gets dishes with day old dried soup spotless clean. Cons: It is VERY noisy. It has a thumping sound so loud if I run it at night, my dog will get out bed and bark at it. It has some kind of humming sound that continues well after the machine says the dishes are clean and it should be done running. You can not fit a half sheet pan in the bottom rack even with the second rack at the highest setting. It does not get plastics dry. I wish had bought a dish washer that pops open when it is done as I think this the best one can hope for when it comes to getting plastic dry. Something to be aware of, when I called to register the product I was made aware by the representative that the warranty only covers manufacturer recalls. I love it's functionality but don't trust it to be mechanically sound for much over a few years which leaves me debating returning it. It is stylish but I advise to keep shopping.

The dishwasher is great now, but getting there took more work than we'd have liked. We bought the dishwasher and the techs that installed it did a phenomenal job taking care of our house and hooking everything up. However, before one cycle was completed, we got several error codes. Turns out the motor and the drain plug were bad. We called immediately and after a few different phone calls (with 'longer than usual holds'), were finally told we'd have to get the install verified by a Geek Squad employee and then get authorization from a KitchenAid technician to ensure the unit was bad. That took approximately a week to get this done. Once they verified it was a bad unit, we got to get back on the phone with 'longer than usual holds' to make arrangements to get the unit switched out. We got disconnected from the first person we talked with, pretty sure he hung up on me. The second person we talked to said he made arrangements to have the bad unit picked up and the new unit installed. However, something didn't feel right about the conversation, so I called back to ask the next specialist if everything looked good. She said that it did, but something still didn't feel right. I ultimately made the decision to go to the store , in the middle of the pandemic, to check and be sure everything was handled correctly. The person I talked to at the store was much more attentive and patient and discovered that the person I'd talked to scheduled the bad unit for pickup but didn't schedule us to receive a new unit. He fixed the issue, but that meant our new unit wouldn't arrive for at least another week plus additional time for install. I'm sure a lot of this communication issue had to do with the ongoing pandemic and shortage of installers and dishwashers, but that didn't lessen the frustration of the number of phone calls we had to make. It also felt like no one really knew the processes or what had to be done to make things right. The new unit is working great and we love it, but getting there wasn't a lot of fun.

We like the dishwasher though it's only been used twice so far due to a kitchen remodel. My only issue is that it threw an error as soon as we tried it and that was due to a loose connection found by the repairman after it was installed. The fact that I had to call for factory service and could not reach Best Buy's Geek Squad after several 1 hour sessions on hold is the reason for the 3 star review. I will no longer purchase Best Buy extended warranties for my appliances.

I love the dishwasher and it runs great; however, there's a drip from the bottom. Best Buy sent their repair team who said it can't be repaired and would need to be replaced. Unfortunately, Best Buy doesn't have any Kitchenaid's in stock, so I have to return it.

The bar handle sticks out so far that I can't open my silverware drawer which is at a right angle. Plus it doesn't line up with my cabinets. So sorry that I didn't notice this before the installers left my house. The appliance works just fine but not happy with the installation. It needed to be pushed in another 1/2 inch or so.

Dishwasher works great but the installers flooded my kitchen not once but twice because they had no idea on where to hook up the drain hose!

I love the dishwasher. It did a great job at cleaning and was very quiet. Unfortunately, it is now erroring 90% of the time claiming a draining error (e1 f9 error code), but works fine when it doesn’t. Given the price of fixing things, I’m not sure if it’s worth it vs replacing it. Quite disappointing.
