While the stove top operates well, it’s been very difficult to get a hold of the appropriate people to determine if there’s a defect in the printing on the stovetop. I’ve had it replaced 3 separate times and all batches from the Best Buy warehouse arrive where you can barely make out the indicator writing. All the installers agree it appears to be a defect and will notify the warehouse to bring a new stovetop that’s not affected, but sadly, that information appears to never get to the right person. I’ve called endlessly and been on hold for hours and people say they put in the notes to check with Kitchenaid to see if this is a defect, but no one follows through. I’m very disappointed in the customer service so far, with Best Buy and the follow up that’s necessary to figure out what’s wrong with this stove top. The lettering shows to be BLACK in all online photos, but when the product shows up here, it appears to be in silver printed on stainless so it is impossible to read unless from a diagonal viewing. Makes your remodel look fantastic! Control knobs feel very good and solid and the lights give the cooktop a great look. The option of flame types for burners is also great.

Excellent cook top! We purchased the 30” cook top for this kitchen due to the counter space. Easy to clean and all the burners do what they are supposed to do. Excellent cook top!

Bought this on sale and had to wait on gas company to install. When it was put in counter noticed it was severely bent and does not sit flush. Best Buy will do nothing because past the 15 days.

I've been using this KitchenAid cooktop for about 3 months now and I love it! The stainless steel finish looks modern and high-end, and it's really easy to clean. The burners are powerful and evenly distribute heat, which makes cooking so much smoother. I especially like the central burner for larger pots. Installation was straightforward, and it's been a reliable upgrade to my kitchen. Highly recommend if you're looking for a built-in gas cooktop that performs well and looks great!

Wow...just installed the new Gas cooktop. This thing is amazing. It replaced the old GE, both are 30" but this looks like a 36 when installed. Dual burners on two and the knobs light up when the gas is on (good thing for us oldtimers). Grates are heavy, really heavy. Finish is georgeous, burner control is fantastic.

Love it! This cooktop has everything, lighted knobs when in use, We've used the griddle to fry eggs, saute vegetables and pancakes. Awesome. The grates themselves are heavy enough that they don't slide around and the burner in the middle is the largest so it works well with big pots. We looked a long time for the right cooktop. We got the right one!

We went with a KitchenAid appliance package in upgrading to stainless steel. We saved thousands (vs. going after a Viking or JennAir package), and we're very pleased with this particular purchase. It has many options on the range for various pots & pans you'd use, e.g. burner size (5 different options). Plus, it's a beautiful range in appearance. We also read reviews where the KitchenAid brand is more 'reliable' than the Vikings, and you'd get faster/better service if needed.

Nice five burner for a 30 inch area, retro install a little dicey, you will need a good plumber to install the gas regulator. Cooking grates easy to clean and radiate even heat.

This cooktop looks like a very professional grade. Definitely updates to a gourmet look. The different burners aid in a variety of cooking temps and times. The grates are very substantial and gourmet-looking but are heavy to move when cleaning, etc. which could be a concern for some but most likely not most users. The griddle is a fun and functional accessory. So glad we picked this cooktop. Would definitely recommend.

This new stove top looks great in our kitchen and very happy with all its features. The lights on the knobs is an added value.

I've never had a gas cooktop before, but I will never go back to electric again. I love the 5 burners. I use the power, fast boil burner a lot. The knobs are beefy and we live that they light up when the burners are lit.

Love my Cooktop, it has 5 burners with different sizes and flame potency. The only thing that didn't last long enough was the griddle as it started pilling a couple of months after use. But the cooktop is top notch

Perfect fit to our renovation. Stylish. More than functional with the fifth burner and optional grilling plate. We are enjoying our cook too.

This is a wonderful addition to our kitchen. All five burners have different functions. The knob lights are great--just this morning, the light told me I hadn't turned off a burner completely. And the grates are stable.

Basically a nice cooktop however, if any water splashes onto the burners during cooking it leaves a permanent discoloration on the burner caps. The stainless steel is extremely hard to clean as the surface is like extremely rough sandpaper. I had to replace the cooktop within one month of install because it leaked gas. Consequently I was with out a cooktop for two weeks including Thanksgiving while waiting for a replacement. I would get a different cooktop if I wasn’t constrained by size cutout because of being an older home.

GREAT PERFORMANCE, EXCELLENT, EASY TO OPERATE, ELEGANT LOOKS, VERY NICE

This stovetop works well and is easy to use. The grill that comes with the stovetop can be easily removed and washed. The only negative is that the controls often become hot from the front burners.

Worth the wait, but....too bad black stainless finish was not an option. Kind of difficult to clean but purchased a burner liner that helps with clean up. Different function burners and lights on knobs when on is a plus.
