See below for low rating... We bought this about 2 years ago, and have been generally happy with it. Would have gotten 4 stars. Some things that are rather annoying, keeping it from a 5 (prior), are: 1. There is only one timer, and that timer is not easy to set. For this price, there should be 2; one for each oven, with different tones. 2. There is no "cancel" button, meaning if you happen to hit any wrong button, or any button in the wrong order, you have to stop the current oven or settings and start over. This is EXTREMELY annoying. ***Reason for 1 star relates to the cracking an peeling enamel inside the oven that just started. Search online, and you will find this is a common problem that KithenAid will not help with (says it is cosmetic, so not warrantied, even with extended plan). I do not want anyone to suddenly bite down on a 2" long piece of enamel that falls into what I am cooking. From other's experience, this is caused by self-cleaning, and only gets worse. So the one-star is due to the chipping enamel and the HORRIBLE customer service. If you go to their website, there is no place to actually talk to anyone. They want you to set up an appointment for an inspection, at YOUR cost before they will even acknowledge you as a person. I currently own, and have owned, several KitchenAid appliances, both large and small. Now that I have experienced the VOID that is KitchenAid customer support, I am now DONE. Never again. There are very few companies that actually stand by their products. KitchenAid is NOT one of them.

I bought this range/oven a little over a year ago and have already had to replace 2 knobs. They are made of cheep plastic and apparently break easily. Not what you want from something over $2500.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. Biggest piece of garbage and performs even worse than the Maytag I previously had. Whirlpool brands just cannot make a good range. First right out of the box it looks cheap. Second out the box the left large burner only works on triple at the highest heat setting. If you knock it to medium or low the burner shuts off. Chips of the blue enamel are constantly appearing and who knows if they end up in food. So dangerous! The oven cooks unevenly so I can never make dinner successfully. One half of the pan is always raw or undercooked. In addition it has ugly huge rubber gaskets on the oven doors. So much for a premium brand. KitchenAid is terrible and I would never recommend it. Lastly the stainless is terrible quality and impossible to keep clean. Look elsewhere for a better range.

I bought this oven 7 months ago. One month ago I noticed that the enamel was cracking and flaking off in the upper oven. The upper oven is used minimally - I prefer to use the convection oven in the bottom (wish they were both convection). I called to ask about warranty coverage and was told that enamel is "cosmetic" and not covered. If I want to talk with a service technician to confirm this, I will have to pay for the call. I am unbelievably disappointed in the poor quality of this appliance, and the lack of service provided by KitchenAid (charging me for a phone call?!). This is supposedly a high end appliance - one of three KitchenAid appliances that I purchased together - a purchase that I very much regret at this point. The enamel protects the rest of the oven - without enamel, the rest of the oven is exposed to moisture/food/etc. Enamel is not cosmetic - it serves a function. Of course, by the time the function of the oven itself is compromised because of the cracked enamel and related damage, my warranty will be expired. My last oven was a Jenn-Air and I never had a problem with it for 10 years - I wish I had brought my 10 year old Jenn-Air to our new house - I'm sure it would have worked longer than my brand new KitchenAid.

I purchased this stove (SKU: 6623498) in white finish back in February because I wanted the newer model with the larger oven windows, as pictured on the product page. Unfortunately, Best Buy delivered an older version with smaller windows (SKU: 6581473)- the one that is still listed on their site but not even available for purchase (it was not available for purchase back in February as well). They have now scheduled three exchanges, and every time they deliver the same older model, not the one I ordered. I keep rejecting the delivery and explaining that it’s the wrong item, despite the SKU technically matching my order. But the photos and product design clearly do not. I've spoken to multiple Best Buy representatives, re-explained the situation each time, and even provided the SKU numbers for both models to clarify. Each time the issue is acknowledged, but no one is able to resolve it. I’ve spent countless hours following up since February, and now it’s already July and I still have the wrong model in my home. I even asked for a partial refund or credit for receiving an outdated model- especially since back in December 2024, this exact model was available at Home Depot for ~$1,660. Instead, I ended up paying the price for what was advertised as the newer version, but got the older one. Buyers beware: If you’re purchasing this stove in white finish expecting the one shown in the product photo, you may be surprised to receive the outdated model instead- and resolving the issue may take months, with no guarantee of success.

This one was a replacement for KitchenAid - 6.4 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Convection Range, the first one has a damaged epoxy protective paint inside the lower oven(looks like happened during assembly), second came in with damaged/bent control panel, the last came in ok however we are not happy anymore with purchase, Sorry but can not rate more then 1, the story with order/exchange started on 08/28/25 and finally ended on 09/27/25- You may ask "what's Best Buys reaction is-?" The answer is - no reaction at all,Not from BB or Kitchen Aid.

Uneven heating, even after calibration. Knobs are NOT stainless steel as advertised. They have foil that peels off the knobs. Terrible oven. Terrible investment.

The oven/range is just a little over one year old, with very average use. However, half of the parts have been replaced already. First - the lower oven. it was producing a very loud metal knocking noise every time it was turned on. The Geek Squad tech had to replace all the fans for the oven, like five of them. Then - range heating elements. Two of them, the largest ones, do not heat for the full power. Need to be replaced too. Currently waiting for the parts. And the last - poor quality of the steel and ceramic glass - scratches and stains very easily. Yes, all repairs are covered by the service plan (addl $300), however, you've never expected such poorly desgined and made product with tag price over 2 grands. We bought it because of Kitchen Aid label legacy, seems like it's no longer lives up to the standard.

It only lasted 3 years. Going to the dump tomorrow. Wife complained of frequent smeel of gas. She also sometimes when she reached for the knob she would get a small shock. The heat from oven vents disfigured the chrome knobs. Went back to a electric smoothtop oven. It was a experiment and it failed.

I have 2 problems with this range. 1. The calibration between the temperature control settings for the ovens and the oven thermostats is lousy. When a constant temperature is required, especially in the lower oven, I have to check periodically and reset the desired temperature and sometimes it's off by as much as 30 degrees. 2. The knobs controlling the burners are plastic and break off the metal stem and I have had to buy 4 replacements and they are not cheap. I complained to Kitchen Aid in an email and never got a response. I will never buy Kitchen Aid again.

I was told at the store it was like new. They were supposed to deliver it between 7 and 1. They didn't show up until 6:30pm once they brought it it they could not level it as the legs were broken. The installers tried to call their dispatch but no one was available. Worst service ever! The bottom door is also rubbing when opened. There is no serial number plate located anywhere on this item which leads me to ask is this really an actual Kitchen Aid. Buyer beware!!

Purchased one that would not power on when they were here to install. They suggested calling the range manufacturer to get is fixed. Right, brand new never been fixed and a repair already. No thanks. They sent out a second one a few weeks later with the same issues. Said forget it all together and went back to my old one that still works. So long kitchen aid

This thing is trash. My list of complaints include: Only one burner can boil water The lower oven won't actually heat past 375 The upper oven can't cook anything without burning it, even at low temps One burner consistently won't turn on Screws fall out of the doors regularly and are sheared off Absolutely awful. I wouldn't buy anything made by them again.

Does not cook food evenly on either burner. We called the whirlpool technician repair thinking the burner was not working properly. Nope, thats just how it was made and was told that we needed to use the even-heat burner side. .. still does not evenly cook your food.

Worse stove ever!!! Very difficult to clean, not with the money, I wish I can return. Stovetop super difficult to clean even with all the products purchased. Top oven when it’s turned on smoke comes through the top so you think something is burning! I was better buying a cheap stove! It would definitely be better than this,

Purchased range about 2 month ago. The stove top worked great but the double oven not so much. It would turn off in middle of baking and would have to reset. The worst part was trying to get someone to come fix it or replace. would not recommend it to NO one!!
