This was delivered November 10th. It has had light use and still looks brand new. The top glass is a little difficult to keep clean. It shows a lot of dust. Overall, I was happy with this range until I noticed the porcelain at the bottom of the top oven has started to crack. Very disappointed considering the light use it has had in 4 months. I will be contacting warranty service shortly for a replacement. Aside from that, it's been great.

Had a Maytag double oven for 20 years and had to recently replace it. Could not get one in white so decided to go with KitchenAid. I'm already going to have to have someone from Best Buy come and service it because I don't think the control board works correctly. For the price I expected so much more. This doesn't even have the basics in my opinion. Doesn't have individual lights for each oven, only has 1 timer for 2 ovens which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, and the glass top is going to be a nightmare and this is from someone who wipes down the oven top after each and EVERY time the stove top is used.

I am so severely disappointed in my range. We spent a lot of money to get a top of the line range and the cooktop scratches so easily. I have followed the directions to a T being so careful and cleaning it regularly. I stopped using my cast iron pans to avoid scratches and worked hard to remove all residue off the bottom of the pans I do use. Within 2 weeks of purchase, I started seeing scratches. And now after a year of using this, it has so many little scratches and blemishes. I had an old GE that never scratched and was treated roughly. This range was my pride and joy and now its embarrassing to see it ruined.

I was so hopeful to receive a good one of these ranges, but we were unlucky enough to get one that the blue interior oven coating was chipping in. Brand new range, and all you had to do was wipe over the blue coating and it would flake off as there was a small chip in a seam at the very back of the bottom oven. This is apparently a problem with this model, and KitchenAid is way too expensive and reputable of a brand to have this kind of issue. This oven otherwise seemed sturdy, but there were a couple of tiny scratches on the cooktop straight out of the box. We'd have overlooked that if the oven had have been okay. Had absolutely no issue with ordering from and returning to BestBuy, and I appreciate that.

I bought this because my older one broke, and my only criteria was double oven. For that, this is great! But the stove top and controls are terrible. First, the minor thing: The stove top has these little white dots to indicate the perimeter of the burners, but they just look like your oven has food debris on it, so good job making a messy looking thing. But more importantly are the burner controls. My old one had digital displays, so it was really easy to put it on 'medium.' Now, you might think this would be easy with a knob regardless - turn it half halfway, right? Not so! Because of the multi-zone burners, the controls are split, and for whatever reason they are not split equally. So you have this tiny section for the inner burner, which a millimeter off is going to get you a wildly different value, and on one of them I swear it's a weird exponential curve for no good reason. I sometimes cook the same thing on two frying pans at once, and trying to get them to cook the same is an exercise in frustration to say the least. On top of that, the knobs are chromed the heck out, so good luck if you want to see at all at a glance (or even a decent look) what they are set to and which burners are on. Like, did no one look at this thing before they decided to sell it? Tragically bad.

The doh ovens work great, but forget the stove top. Even though I have great lighting in the kitchen, the stove top controls are not only hard to see, but they make no sense. It is very frustrating to prepare a meal. The directions about the temps on the stover top mean nothing. I am strongly considering returning it. Too much stove top drama.

Using the ultra heat burner for the fourth time the stove top cracked from the center of the burner. Bought the Geek Squad support. No luck, they don't cover anything during manufactures warranty. Was told to contact Kitchenaid but they do not cover the stove top under warranty either. Kitchenaid service is two weeks. Service and warranty suck.

I have had glass top stoves before and this one is the most difficult to maintain. We have only boiled water for tea and not cooked anything yet. The glass appears like something has burned onto the glass but it’s bubbling under the surface. The tea pot does not have any “stuff” on the bottom to cause an issue. We shall see what happens when we cook or bake, hopefully the outcome will be better.

I am very pleased with the professionalism of the employees of Best Buy that delivered my KitchenAid double oven freestanding range however I CAN’T say the same for the range. The blue enamel in the both ovens is peeling off and was noticed while cleaning before use. The ovens had been turned on ONCE by servicemen demonstrating how to use. I contacted KitchenAid and received an apology and sent me a PDF manual and referenced a page in the manual which by that time I had read the manual and read that it was cosmetic and not covered by warranty. Very disappointing!

When oven temp was set to 400, the bull-nose around the cook-top got VERY hot! So hot in fact, when my husband went to lean over to check controls, he was actually burned. Not enough to go to the doctor, but enough that a child touching it would have definitely gone to a doctor! Anything above 400 and it was obviously even worse! An independent contractor was sent out and said it was personally unacceptable but that ALL ranges get that hot, and the temperature is within the KitchenAid parameters. This was NOT acceptable to us so we returned and purchased a different brand! Best Buy, from sales to service, was wonderful to work with - this was solely a KitchenAid issue.

Sorry to say this, not a fan of this stove. Dislike the knobs, already after 1 year one broke , it cracked . Hate the stove top it is never easy to clean. Always looked so messy.

Ovens are great but the glass top scratches really easy. The Whirlpool I had before the glass top was much better

Oven is good stove too cracked after 2 weeks of owning. If boiled water spills on cooktop it’s very difficult to scrub off. When I called manufacturer about repair they stated they would have to determine whether or not it was defective before it would be determined if it would be covered under warranty. It cracked!! I wasn’t even using the burner that cracked

The pre-heat shows the temp setting has been met but its obvious by feeling the oven that it isn't. So we shut the oven off and turn it right back on and the oven temp will show approx. 60 degrees cooler and then it heats up to the set point, maybe. Very disappointed for a 2 grand oven. On hold forever with Kitchen Aid.

Bought and got it delivered on September 9th, today, I’m about to call the “Geek Squad” to get support for the front, small burner that doesn’t come on.

Doesn’t fit tight against the wall. Otherwise I would give it a 5 star
