It's a mounting kit, not much to say other than it fits the microwave perfectly, allows plenty of venting when it's installed in a cabinet cut-out, and the trim piece matches my stainless kitchen well. Reasonably priced for what it does.

My 15 year old built in mw died so I had to buy a new one. Which was fine since I upgraded to a mw with convection oven combo. But the old trim kit did not fit. So ordered the new one. The new one serves its purpose but the old one was made of real stainless steel. The new one is plastic with a SS veneer.

Very disappointed. The trim kit has directions for installation for the model number microwave It’s designed for. The diagram doesn’t match the model and screw holes referred to don't exist. When installed, the door won’t open completely. Now staring at a trimless microwave with no clue how to fix it and unhappy.

This was a replacement for a 15yr old built in microwave. It required only minmal amount of work to make it fit perfectly.

This trim kit frames by new Kitchenaid microwave well. However I had to replace it 2 times because each one had a ding/dent in it. Even the third replacement had a ding in it, but decided to keep it because it was taking too much time to arrange deliveries, return, installation. Best Buy was nice to not charge follow me for follow up visits by the installers. Overall it looks nice. It is also the only SS trim option for this microwave unless you get the trim custom made.
This is a great product. The trim looks great, but we updated.

wrong kit delivered, and installation guys don't know what he was doing. He installed the rail before he find out front plate is not within dimensions. when he find out he returned old rails and lazy to open the new rails and it never fits.

Microwave trim set. We installed a new microwave and went to several differnt stores and purchased trim set that didn't fit and returned them. Finally went to BestBuy.com and ordered it and delivered the next day and installed it easy and fast with perfect fit.
