we replaced our old gas cooktop after 10 years and we took our time for replacement. We checked quality, size, easy cleaning and maintenance. We decided to buy KitchenAid. And it is tested this last Holiday since family members came in from other states and they all love to cook. They cook all the time. And I only gets the chance to clean the cooktop once a week. And it passed the durability and easy maintenance test. Still looks new.

I love my new gas cooktop . It’s very easy and safe to use. The big burner in the center it is great! I cook my paella there! I am happy I can easily clean the cooktop and now everyone in my family wants to cook:-)

Easy to clean, works well. This was bought to replace a 25+ yr old kitchen aid cooktop, hope this one lasts as long as its predecessor!

We just love it! It was time to remodel our old kitchen, and the KitchenAid appliances is what we wanted matches fabulously with our new Carrera quartz

This is not the quality that I'd expect from Kitchenaid. The stainless is a rougher grain then their other appliances that I've purchased in the past year or two. The laser etching for the controls is barely legible. Other then these issues, it does cook so no complaints there.

Not very happy with my purchase. I would not rather gotten a different brand if I would have known my knobs would melt. Do not recommend specially for the price.

This is the last item I will ever purchase from KitchenAid. Bought this cooktop in December of 2021 because we were doing a full kitchen remodel. At the advisement of many retailers, (didn't know how long product would be available, cost increase, shipping issues, etc.), we purchased early and were set to install in our kitchen as our remodel progressed. When we got to that point, our contractors found that our cooktop was bent in the upper left corner. It is unable to sit flush on the granite countertop and because of this, it doesn't allow the pan/pot in the upper left corner to sit level because nothing is flush. Contacted KitchenAid and their response was that it was "outside of the 30 day warranty, sorry." So now we're stuck with a $1500 cooktop that we can't use on one side.

worst cooktop, if you like cooking. Large burners are at counter edge of grate, where only a 6 3/8" diameter pot can be used. Small burners are situated so they can take large pans. Knobs jiggle loosely and the heat settings are nearly invisible unless you're 4' tall (the height/angle at which the settings are legible). The surface is rough - NOT brushed - as if sorayed with an adhesive, collects fibers from sponges and cloths and never looks clean. HORRIBLE design.

The stovetop works well; however, the design of the temp display is so light I am not able to see what temp I’m on. Unfortunately I am not able to get a different stovetop because the cut out for this stovetop is larger than any others sold at Best Buy. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

I bought this 36 inch Kitchenaid cooktop to go along with a full suite of stainless steel appliances. I’ve used it for almost two months now and couldn’t be happier. Beautiful stainless steel top with heavy duty quality industrial grates and comes with metal control knobs. Spark ignition lights burners quickly and flame is strong, crisp, and adjusts nicely. Large center burner boils water rapidly so no issues there. Unit cleans up easily. Found Best Buy sale price was lowest cost.

This is a high-quality item. It is a standard size so it was easy to replace an older cooktop in the same cutout. It is easy to clean and easy to use. The price of a Kitchen Aid is a little more than some discount brands, but the quality and appearance are worth it.

Nice and sleek. Easy to clean. Middle burner doesn't heat a pot of water as quickly as we would like. Still way faster than electric. so far so good. We tend to have good luck with KitchenAid products.

This is a very good quality cooktop. The knobs are metal and made well. It has a nice even flame. I like the large burner for boiling water. It is very easy to keep clean. The grates are very heavy and durable. I am very happy with my purchase.

Always wanted a gas cooktop over our prior crappy electric cooktop. I've burned so many things with the electric cooktop than I care to admit. The high output center burner is the best as it does not get in the way of using all the other burners at the same time. Its awesome. Flame control is great. Due to constraints of our current cabinet set up I had to get the controls on the top of the cooktop rather than the front, but not an issue at all. Very easy to clean as well. I looked at other brands and honestly then were more expensive paying for more gadgets rather than more quality. GREAT COOKTOP!!!

I bought this on a sale and it is easily one of the best cooktops on the market. Unless you are willing to go up to the next tier in the $3-$4,000 range then this is the highest quality cooktop. The entire unit is make of thick steel, not like those cheap feeling ones in stores that bend when a pot of water is on them. There is an electronic ignition so it is not always on wasting gas. Installation was simple.

I have owned this cooktop for 2 years now. While I love the cooking abilities and high burner I wish there was a second burner that was higher if not as high as the 20k. Maybe 18k. I feel like all I use is the 20k burner. Also, the knobs are hard to clean around so the trim around the knobs looses it's stick quickly. they need a better way to attach those. Not sure how. Would I buy this again? Yes. It's one of the best cooktops on the market.

It’s a great looking cooktop with awesome 5 burners. The one thing we’re finding odd is that the grill on top is a little too high above the flame, and that reduces the heat received by the utensil kept on the burner by a bit - increasing the cooking time, and also affecting the heat reaching the dishes being cooked. Other than the cook time, it hasn’t really affected anything else but we still find it odd.

Love this product. The middle burner is amazing and so versitile. It's elegant in design and easy to clean. An amazing value for the price and would stand up to much costlier options.

This KitchenAid Cooktop replaced our 17 year old Whirlpool cooktop. This new cooktop is sleek with the new type of handles and is so easy to clean and will not show discoloration with the coating that this particular cooktop has been fitted with. It's a modern and clean look. You might have to cut your countertop for the install as it had different dimensions than our 36" 17 year old Whirlpool.
